Hi

I have a philips 3380 recorder, the problem I am having is that the buttons on the player itself have stopped working.
The dvd player works fine with the remote, problem is I cant open the drawer because there is no eject function on the remote.There is no disc in the player so its not as if one is stuck. I was using the player only half an hour earlier to when I realised the panel wouldnt operate. anyone any ideas.

For those of you who may come across the same problem, power on using the remote, let it load then press and hold the stop button to open drawer.
