You just click where it says Free at the bottom. Hang on one minute, plug your phone in and tell me what CID your phone is first

Winrar http://www.filehippo.com/download_winrar/

You download XS++ or PhoneXS, start the program, click the start button in the program, and THEN you plug the phone in whilst switched off, holding the C button, but I really wouldn't recommend doing this unless you're absolutely sure about it because you can kill the phone

You need the driver. Here http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?a...e=post&id=3237

But first you need Winrar to open the files.

How hard is it to do on a scale of 1 to 10?

What differences is there between software?

Your link does not work. It says something went wrong?

What happens if it goes wrong? Is the phone completely irreplaceable or is it recoverable?

XS++ http://www.flash-file.com/XS++/download.php

It was easy, number 1 for me. But I'd read up about it for weeks first. There's nothing much different, except you get flight mode which means you can use the music player while the phone is switched off, and you can sort the music by artist, album etc. You lose the activity menu (middle button - shortcuts etc) as this becomes the walkman button.

The main difference is that the W800i has the Sony Walkman and flight mode, oh yes and normally retails at £60 more than the K750i (tho you don't see quite as many for sale these days since the W810i came out).

Does this procedure also unlock and debrand the phone or is that something else?

I think ill just keep my K750i as it is. Im confused (Well not really) but my PC refuses to open that W800i software (It keeps changing the file type...).

At the end of the day for the sake of Walkman (Which is nothing special) ill just leave it.

I like my shortcut menu thank you very much!

Yeah I noticed that. I'm not too bothered about losing the Activity menu but I do miss the way you always used to get a little preview pane when you received a new text that let you read the first line or so before opening the message itself.
