He's certainly not a team player, but he does seem a bit more capable than Syed. Syed was talentless.

Have to say that Jadine grew on me this week. Wasn't too keen last week. She's still obsessed about the branding/logo thing though. I think she gets a little too distracted by it. It's very odd.

I think Syed was more amusingly annoying though, more irritating yet entertaining because he was such a plank. Tre is aggressive, just plain horrid and annoying. Having seen that clip of next week's episode, I think the irritation is just going to turn to sheer hate of the man.

Bless him though, he seemed like a decent human being. I agree with Maggie Philbin; he'll pick himself up and do alright in life, and at least it won't always be by stabbing those around him in the back. I liked the way he stood up for Ifti in the You're Fired show.
I'm not liking the boys' team at the moment. They don't seem to have a team player amongst them, and they're very quick to criticise the team leader (without volunteering themselves).

I agree - the boys team are just back stabbing each other and from the moment they got together the aim was to engineer the downfall of whoever is chosen as project manager. There is no team work whatsoever. They are consistently and deliberately not supporting the PM for this reason and just ensuring and manipulating every move so they themselves don't get the blame. They seem to see their tasks based around not being fired rather than winning.

I'm loving the girls team. They are working well together and supporting each other to win.

If the task is as it seems - to make as much money from £200 then Tre will do very well. He is a very good salesman - can just imagine him cold calling and closing sales.

If I was Rory I would have brought up Tre's altercations with Jadine last week- he cant't respect a team leader. I would have got Jadine back me up on this.
I'd have problems with both of them too.

Managers who talk to the team like children and start with the list of foibles and diktats deserve all they damn well get.

Lets see what happens when a manager talks to the team like adults from the outset and gives them a chance to come to their own equilibrium.

Put Tre with someone or a small group he can work with asap and out of your hair if you can't manage him.
Let him balls things up all on his own without diverting your energy too.

Remember what happened to Karen last year when she was trying to calm and manage the mad brummy woman Project manager, Karen wasted energy and got fired.

Tre had a point about the focus group, instead of asking how it was going and at least getting an idea they waited, until it was $hit or bust.
Info was useless by then.

I was very impressed with Katie tonight. It makes such a difference when someone can smile & offer encouragement.

Syed and sales?
He wasn't completely talentless was he.
As Siralan said he had flashes of brilliance but they were to few and fair between and outweighed by his arrogance.

Im not warming to Tre at all. Agree with AS assistants, he is argumentative and a trouble maker and irritating.

I didnt like the fact that he refused to shake hands with Rory afterwards. He makes it personal.

He wasn't brilliant at sales. Many of the others were better. Yeah, he did have his moments, but he was also incredibly stupid...

if he does - then I take it all back! However I think he will be too smart to become team leader for a good while yet.

I did feel a bit sorry for Rory in the end. He seemed like a broken man. Like he was just about ready to burst into tears any second.

Yes I thought that too, especially when it was pointed out he had failed again.

I thought that was very ill-mannered, he won't get far in business if he takes that sort of attitude. Personally, I don't think Tre will take what Sir Alan said to him to heart, I believe he'll think that his not getting fired was validation of his style. The man's a complete a**e, though.

Rory was a nice bloke at heart, I think, but classic beta-male trying to hack it in an alpha-male position and failing miserably. As someone's right-hand-man, he'd probably be fine, but he's not a leader. Probably got bullied at school.

It was his first time away... always the hardest.

Yeah, but c'mon. He'd only been away for a few days... This is the opportunity of a lifetime...

I do agree with you there. "Eclipse Clips". That did make me chuckle though.

I really like Jadine. She's probably my favourite right now. She seems to know what she's doing and proved herself to be quite capable at leading the team last week.
