What was worse I thought, was the way Adrian Chiles was lauding him on You're Fired as if he was some kind of sage or hero.

I think Tre has some dodgy viewss regarding women and liberal attitudes that make me a bit uneasy. His businesss chit-chat is masking it a little bit but deep down I don't think he's a very nice person.

Up until last night's episode, I couldn't stand Tre and would have joined in with the 'slay tre' theme, but last night he was as funny as hell. He's not a character anyone would wish to spend any time with, let alone work with or employ, but as for entertaining telly... I finally 'got it' last night. He was totally un-PC yes, but damn it was funny.

He must be stupid if he doesn't realise how this comes across to viewers, but he seems blissfully unaware of it. The whole time he was selling, you could see the contempt for his customers in his face. It's just SO bloody annoying that he keeps ending up in the winning team - but I'm sure his time will come, it has to!!!

There is some very anti Semitic comments about Tre and his dislike of the "fish & tits" art last week, on Andrew Collins blog http://www.wherediditallgoright.com/...vy-footed.html
even though Tre is as Jewish as Siralan is a Quaker. Edit: I should point out the comments are made by a member of the public and definitely not by Andrew Collins. |

So Tre even takes the piss out of his own people, hmm..... He's not getting any better - if anything, he's getting more boring - I expected him to really have a go at this last task and make it his own, and he was really disappointing. (But 'Mind Your Language' got mentioned in the Adrian Chiles programme - hey, call me Mystic Meg, lol!!)

I'msorry but i didnt see tre taking the piss out o fanyone, he put on a accent which the woman at the end of the line found easier to understand and relate to just as one would simplify their english if abroad perhaps? Thats no bad thing besides it was the other taking the P out of tre esp with the wobbly head. But all in Jest i thought.

I don't think I detest Tre as much as I did previously, but I do think it's funny that week after week, he immediately says something like "this task is perfect for me, I'm tailor-made for it, it's what I do, watch me shine!" etc. etc. - and then he just fades into the background, and someone else ends up being far more successful at it!!

Tre never took the oportunity to shine during this task for some strange reason, perhaps he didn't like being lead by a woman

He did come across as negative, I agree, but actually - along with Simon - he was the winner of that task. I don't blame him for having misgivings about Simon's rapping and dancing: I know I certainly did. And all credit to Simon, it worked out okay in the end.
I'd have liked to have known who was responsible for the casting call. Getting sent half a dozen young people who couldn't dance was disastrous. But for all Simon's contributions, the thing that impressed me most was Tre's way of making their rather naff 'reclaim the Streets' idea actually mean something - by connecting it to youth centres and giving it an anti-corporate message. Tre was also right about the percentage of profits rather than a non-negotiable percentage of product price. Tre was a bit grumpy - perhaps he felt Simon was stealing the limelight - but they work quite well together and, IMO, Tre's instincts are generally good. |

We're seeing edited highlights of god knows how many days of filming.. I'm sure they could portray him as a saint if they so wished...
