- why was phil so uptight when Sonja went to the police? if he didnt kill lisa or hurt her then surely he could have just told them the true story and he wouldn't have had all the hassle he got from them. why did he threaten Sonja and everything if he didnt do anything anyway?

I missed last nights episode but I was wondering about this aswell.

I also want to know why Mel pretended to be Lisa

Mel was on the run from the police and so she couldn't use her real ID incase they arrested her as unlikey as it was, so she pretended to be Lisa, so that she could have a bank account, car ect, without using her real details.

i think lisa kills herslef by jumping off the cliff as she has nothing to live for and then her body is washed away by the sea, thats why there is no body!

I agree with monkee to an extent. The whole thing is just ridiculous anyway, it annoyed me how she LET him mess with her head like that. It's clear she isn't mentally unhigned or whatever. If Phil doesn't get in trouble for that or something I'm going scream. I don't think I'll be able to watch it tonight without flinging the TV out the window.

One thing I found a bit strange was that Phil told Lisa he never wanted to see her again and that she could never see Louise or have anything to do with her yet he has a photograph of her in the living room.

Maybe she is dead, as Phil said he could have been lying. I think if Lucy Benjamin can't get other work or wants to come back then we'll see her, but it's like Mark Fowlers ending, is he dead or isn't he?

Mark rode off into the sunset on his motorbike so he could die without putting Pauline through the agony of seeing him.

Although iirc, he'd been downing pints in the Vic for several hours before he rode off.
Tbh, you didnt miss much, it was a really crap episode.

He told Pauline, Derek and Sharon. I cant remember if they are keeping it from Martin or not. I enjoyed the last few episodes more than anything in EE for quite a while. I am getting a bit tired with these two-hander episodes in soaps now though. Gail and Richard in Corrie was great, but in Thurdays EE despite the good acting I was sick of seeing them both just crying and shouting at each other!

If he died before he rode off how did he manage to ride off? surely that episode would be freaky.

Sorry to Phil bash though but are we supposed to care for Phil when he cried at the end of Friday's episode? I did care for Lisa (good performance) and for Kate but not him. He is the yuckiest character in the square - both Lisa and Kate are well rid - hated the fact he brought the baby back!

Are you sure Kate is rid of him? In an online interview on the BBC's web site the actress who plays her is talking as if she's still on the set which means she's going to be around for another 6 weeks at least.
