hi guys,

just a quick question about upgrades, im on orange premier £55 a month...

i last upgraded 4 months ago but i cant get on with my phone and wondered how much an upgrade fee would be? i was told by someone at work that its around £50 ish is this true as it seems rather cheap!

thanks for your time

Hi, I guess it would depend on what handset you wanted to upgrade to. I would guess the cost would be higher than £50 but as you'r on a premier account im not sure. Just give upgrades a ring, they will tell you.
Good luck.

I cant even get onto orange's upgrade site for my mums contract, but my Dad can get on it perfectly, and every phone is free, and theyre on the same contract. Weird.

3-4MONTHS! Wow! I want something a bit different though, like a Sidekick. Fat chance of getting that, considering its only on T-Mob, and they dont even sell it from what I can see on their website. Why do you upgrade so often?

I wandered into a Three store last month and the salesman said that T-Mobile Sidekick and Orange SPV's are made by the same company, HTC, who also produce them under thier own name. He said HTC are going to produce a model for Three.

So, you have some options to look at. I generally browse the phone magazines in the newsagent, they might help you decide to. Why not Google HTC?

i get bored of my phones quickly and im very happy with my contract as my work pays half of it all, i also like my technology,

so if i upgrade and dont like it i can always ebay the phone!

i dont begrudge £50 for the n95 at all though!
