If it's like previous series then everything will have been filmed, but no one will know the result, as the final two work for Amstrad for six months before Sir Alan makes his mind up who to employ.
Two endings are filmed and the two people and the BBC are told I think the day before it goes out. |

i tink it was filmed in October 16th (The first episode anyway) because when they were selling coffee I saw a sign in William Hill saying England vs Macedonia and that was played on October 16th

For the previous series, two endings were filmed. One ending had michelle winning, the badger sad, and the other ending had ruth winning and michelle losing. One week before the show is aired, Sir Alan decides who he wants to employ, and the BBC show that particular ending.

I only realised this was a year old when Stuart bags last night mentioned that he was a year older than when he was on the show.
I was like ![]() So they have to wait a year before finding out whos the winner then? lol |

The intension was to show this series early in the year as before, so the final two would only work for Lordalun for six months. But as Lordalun took up a government post (and a seat in the house of lords) the show couldn't be shown near to the election as it could be construed as being a bit of a promotion for the Labour party.
I don't know if the final two ended up working for a year for Lordalun this time - logic says they would but its a long time for the eventual loser

Totally wrong, GibsonSG. As other posters have said, it was filmed a year ago and should have been shown, as usual, in the Spring.
(I infinitely prefer Flying Vs, btw) |

I hope they revert back to the spring schedule but would not surprise me if they delay it till the winter time again.

SAS said the Junior Apprentice will be back in the Autumn. I guess that indirectly confirms that the new series will back in it's usual Spring slot. It also means less of a wait for the next series!
