Haha yes!

I enjoyed the episode, and the character of Martha is now settled in my head.

And I do hope the above spoiler about
Spoiler
the Daleks
is true. That'd be gooooood.

Slightly more geared to the kids this one although it would be nice and scary for them !!!

Using a Harry Potter spell to see off the baddies, only in Dr Who !!!

Martha is a nicer person than Rose so she's not half as annoying although to be fair thats the way the Rose character was written. She was set up as somebody who got too carried away with the whole "thrill " aspect of being with the doctor and paid the price in the end.

Martha is altogether a more balanced person and its good to see her and the Doctor play off each other.

I don't have a problem with the Doctor going on about Rose (within reason) as I think thats far more realistic than forgetting her after one episode. Not sure Rose is going to come back, I think this is about the Doctor eventually coming to appreciate Martha more. Although hopefully the luvvy dovey aspects won't surface again...one companion was enough !!!

Yes that joke was interesting. Lets hope that the Harry Potter movies don't exist in the Whoniverse. Otherwise Docno10 might be confused by the actor playing Bart Crouch Jr in Goblet Of Fire-one David Tennant!!

First time I have voted Very Good for Tennant's reign as The Doctor. And RTD in good Doctor Who script shock!

This episode looked beautiful and full marks for the Director Of Photography.

These darker themed episodes are what Doctor Who has always done best and prove very entertaining.

However I was not impressed with Martha in this episode. We really could have been watching Rose and I fear for her character development in future episodes.

I agree, he SHOULD mention Rose, it makes it far more realistic - I'm glad he mentions her as well

I enjoyed this more than I expected to as I never really enjoy the historical episodes as much as ones set in the present or future - but then I hate historical dramas generally - they just don't do anything for me...

Looking forward to next weeks

But that guy doesn't realise what it is for several hundred years after Shaksepare realisers....when you have time travel there is more than one way to think of being the 'first' to do soemthing....

Time isn't linear. The Torchwood guy saw through the psychic paper before Shakespeare did.

I think that was a reference to people who are claiming that Shakespeare was (at least) bisexual.

Yes it was before in the Doctors timeline. Even though only Rose and Mickey were in the room.

Shakey said something a bit provovative to the Doc.

There is an academic school of thought that believes the (real) Shakespeare was bisexual/gay & that's one of the reasons he didn't live with his wife

I assumed that this was possibly about some people thinking he may be gay as this comment came after he flirted with the Doctor.

Why 57 then? Any reason for that number?

Had very high production values, and a fun storyline.

Great Episode.
