i have to say that i am a little angered because the last two episodes and probably the rest of the series have mentioned Rose this is Freemas time now as Martha and how are people going to get used to Martha if Rose if brought up everytime the doctor mentions Rose RTD has probably mucked everything up for freema now

Give it a chance, see how things actually happen before you wrtie everything off.

Plus, it is perhaps making Martha stronger with the Rose mentions - see how the bed scene anoyed her so much with the Rose mentions? Well that is surely a good thing - will help her develop and will make the Docor realise it is perhaps time to move on unless he wants to loose the newest companion too....

...so just give things time and don't get so bloody angry

Rose has to be mentioned...........

When you have loved someone you can't just switch off

Again, another post that should be in the main thread to prevent forum wasteage, but some people just want attention!

Personally I like the fact that Rose is mentioned and not just forgotten as if she didn't exist, makes it far more believable.

probably because Rose is still part of The Doctor's memories, as would be the case in real life. As *Eileen* said, it makes it more believable

I think that was the whole point of it today - I hope to see a confrontation between Martha and ther Doctor over him mentioning Rose so much.

Plus we needed it today as it is so close to the last episode and Martha is still only on a one trip journey with him - going home after they've been to the past - well deep down inside that might not be what the Doctor is wanting, but it appears to be what he is trying to convince himself of and what he is telling Martha.

I think it will be up to Martha to have a go at him over mentioning Rose which will help him realise he actually wants (and needs) someone else to travel with and to help him get passed loosing Rose.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but...If it meant for a minute that we could get rid of freema agyeman, I'd happily see Billie Piper or EVEN Bonnie Langford back as the companion. :/

Alas, I wish I were. It's something about freema that just sends something right through me every time I hear that shrill voice.

What shrill vocie? It sounds fine to me, quite normal and ordinary. Not shrill, not annoying or anything.

Yeah? Just listen to the way her pitch goes up when she feigns amazement or whines. Seriously. I'd even take Langford over here.

We most certainly have, and I posted the same point then (as it was my opinion), just as you did (with your opinion). We will disagree, so it's best to leave it there.

As long as it's not Nicola Bryant! In which case I would personally sign the documents to consign you to a secure institute.

Great post, it does seem that the plot line is going this way and rightly so. seems to be on the lines that it will take Martha to pick the Dr up again. Plus we dont know how long the Dr has been travelling back and forth on his own since Rose left.

Freema and Wesley Crusher from star trek would make a great couple - two charatcers I'd quite happily throw out an airlock.

i thought the Rose mention was well done. I think it is making his character more believable. Although i do agree about the voice going annoying at some points but not that often to make it really annoying.

Right. And if Rose had never been mentioned at all, it'd be "Wah! See! They've completely forgotten about Rose!", etc.

I think the whole Rose issue is fine - if you think about it, (I am sorry) but Take That not mentioning Robbie Williams? Get my drift? YOu can't have one without the other.

Freema as Martha is well put - she's feisty and will DEFINITELY put the Doctor in his place if needs must. I may be reading to much into the 2 episodes but I can see a comfrontation between the two over Rose.

I must admit today was a bit pants in terms of Martha not being mentioned so much, David Tennant was his own man today - she was merely in his shadow! That kinda got me slightly lol. But thats a different topic me thinks
