I am looking to get a HD TV shortly as I have some inheritance coming to me. I have a budget of between £500 and £650.
MY OH would rather it was towards the lower end of the budget, but myself would rather try and push it to the higher end. Not bothered about builtin freeview as I have cable.

I have no idea when the cash will arrive, so special weekend deals are out of the question. I would just like some views on good HD TV's that are out there within the budget range, I realise it's not a pariculary good price range, but I don't want to blow everything on a TV.

Doh!!! I knew I should have put that in.

Prefrably 28" upwards. I certainly don't want anything 26" or under.

I'd like a 32" but will I get a semi-decent one for the budget?

Easily, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG and Samsung are all worth considering and are available in your price range!

Just doing a quick check on the comet site. What features should I be looking for the TV to have to make it worthwhile?

If I remember I think one is 1080 resolution, or am I off track with that?
It will be linked up to a 5.1 surround sound system.
