With my k750i, The trick is to put your thumb on the card and push it out.

Tbh mate you don't really need to remove the SIM for a firmware update. I know they tell you to, but I never have, and some people I know never have, and everything works fine.

Have you checked whether the SIM can actually be removed? Didn't 3 actually glue a lot of SIMs into the phones?

Well my sim card was in a credit card thing like normal ones, where you pop it out. They only glued them in the phones back in the day where you could get their phones for £15 on PAYGO.

That was in the early days. Now it sells proper phones e.g. Sony Ericcson K610i, Nokia N73, the RAZR series etc.

Yeah I know. God that phone was crap though. I like the look of the V3xx though, or whatever it's called.
