Do you have an HDMI cable connected?

Make sure you reboot the player with the HDMI connected.

No, the area marked HDMI is greyed out, and I need to use the scart viewing to read the menu.

if its greyed out then there must be a way off switching it on.

is there an auto install? i would try manual install if it has it.

have you tried auti install with hdmi connected?

does your telly need its hdmi socket switched on?

Check these setting already, to be honest, I seen some other postings elsewhere, with the same problem, but no answers to them.

HDMI won't allow you to enable it unless it's connected and active.

Try switching your TV to HDMI and then turning the player on and off, also, on the remote there should be a video out button, press this while on the blank HDMI screen, it should come on after a few presses.

I just got it to work, after playing about with the HDMI cable for the 20th time.

Thanks for the replies.
