Does anyone else find that programs on this channel suffer from severely poor picture quality?? Every time I try and watch it the picture blocks up.. very bad. I can't even get 4OD on my computer because it is PC only not Mac

i watch a bit of 4od and it has only blocked up once, had to go back to the menu and try again. I thought mine may have been to do with a very temporary signal problem to the box, but it hasn't happened since.

Some of the catch up stuff isn't too hot but the archive stuff is variable, some of it brilliant and some verging on ropey.

Not noticed any quality issues. But the music/chimes irritate the hell out of me.

I've noticed the opposite, 4od pictures are a lot sharper and clearer than broadcast channels, and the audio is louder and clearer...

Picture's a bit soft but sound is better than any other channel. BTW, you should be able to get 4OD on your PC, works on mine...

Some of the archive stuff is VERY old and the video quality probably wasn't all that to start with. I find Homechoice picture quality is always inferior to my Freeview box.

I think 4OD is a fantastic service. Glad that it offers programming for catch up and also classic programmes such as Ali G and also Father Ted etc. As I have the Big Pack it makes it better as all the programming is free, something that the PC version (which I downloaded from Channel 4) doesn't offer unless it is for 'catch up'.
