Jadine is definitely going to be watched now by all three of them but I agree with Geri and think she has raw talent that can me molded. Naomi should have gone, one of the worst PM's yet and what I hated was when she said tht Geri asked to do locations, its common sense that it was a lie, what person in their right mind asks for a job she previously failed at!!!
I am not mad about this group, this year and feel that it is only three weeks in and the backstabbing and bitching is already out of hand, this is meant to be a proper show with proper people doing things to get a job not Big Brother!!! |

Alan Sugar just could not believe his luck last night...who to sack....Naomi or Jadine?
Suddenly, Gerri opens her big mouth and all but says..."I'll give you an excellent reason to sack me, Sir Alan". Thanks, says Alan Sugar...."YOUR FIRED"

I hope you don't mind me saying this, but you're a bit aggressive." I do feel Jadine is trying to over-compensate too much (lol@ the "threatened" comment) but I don't think the other women's issues with her are all about personality....

Why say anything in the boardroom and risk antagonising him. Better to let him think he is great and wait till he trips up.

I think both of them were pretty TERRIBLE! I appreciate they had limited resources and time .. but there were six (at least) on each team one team made an extra £69 quid ( a tenner each for a days work?) and the other made £180 .. which works out about £30 each. They could have got themselves hired for the day in sainsbury's as shelf stackers and made more! (obviously i'm not suggesting they could've done that, but you get the comparison!) I did fundraising with school kids for an afternoon (we washed cars .. not much outlay there) and we made a heck of a lot more then that! Last edited by MsApplePie : 13-04-2007 at 02:56. |

Naomi was terrible and deserved to go, but she's also terribly easy on the eye....I agree - Gerri v Naomi on those grounds was no contest really. Now if Adrian Chiles was SAS then Gerri would have had a chance - their sexuality aside, Adrian very obviously admires the Gerri and Ruth type of women rather than Naomi and Michelle . And Gerri looked much better on the BBC2 show but still not in Naomi's league. |

On her website she says she had a long list of potential sites where there would be children of the right age. Which is pre-school: the fact that it was a week day in term time was irrelevant. So the basic idea of face-painting wasn't too bad. The problem is that when Gerri phoned the locations to make arrangements, none of them would give permission for filming. Personally I think the right person was fired, but not because of that. Naomi was always safe because she did an OK job as PM - not brilliant, but not as bad as previous ones. She also gave a good performance in the boardroom. She was calm, unflustered by either Sir Alan or the other women, made her points where it mattered, was clear about what she thought had gone wrong from the beginning. She never looked intimidated. I think how you conduct yourself in losing is as important as winning. Sir Alan now knows he can work with her. She was never going to be fired for this task. It might have been Jadine. Jadine came in for a lot of stick from Margaret in ep1 despite winning as PM. All her decisions seemed to be wrong, and her attitude is terrible. She's a liability. However, Gerri gave a terrible performance in the boardroom. First, she was unable to assess her colleagues and advise Sir Alan on who he should fire. She had some misguided notion that it would count as bitching, but in business you sometimes have to let people go and if she can't face up to hard choices she shouldn't be there. Then when asked why she shouldn't be fired herself, she came out with the tired old cliche "because you haven't seen the best of me yet." If she hasn't done well after 3 episodes, when is she going to start? Nick quite rightly picked up on this and she gave a reply, in which she more or less admitted she was a slow starter at the same time as trying to deny it. What she should have done was highlight some of her own achievements. That's not bitching. As it was, she hid her light under a bushel and allowed Sir Alan to believe she had contributed nothing. So she had to go. It's a shame because she is more able than Jadine (and possibly even Naomi), but if she can't handle herself in the boardroom she can't work with Sir Alan. |
