I believe the whole thing is a non-story to be honest, just Bruno chuntering away to avoid a lull in the conversation. Wasn't there some talk about Emma appearing on DWTS as well at some point, and that didn't come to anything either.

She's only a (heterosexual) woman, to be more precise...

But Heather Mills here in SCD? I think it's a very ***daft*** idea from Bruno.

Not his first daft idea and certainly won't be his last!

There was talk of Emma judging at one point I think, yes, but you're probably right.

I wouldn't care if she hadn't done DWTS but since she has, I think it would be really unfair (she doesn't really register all that much for me - don't like her, don't actively dislike her, she's just...meh.)

No, no, no. Personality issues aside, if you do one of these progs, it's not fair to fellow/ prospective contestants to do another. Sometimes these shows act as a vehicle for reviving careers of people out of the spotlight and that often goes well- some of them work very hard for it. Mills doesn't need the publicity and it could turn nasty for her as well as overshadowing the others. And, as been said, she would have the added advantage of recent training, win or lose. But, factor in the 'loveable' but over-excitable Bruno's 'spur of the moment' comments, and it'll probably come to nothing.

I honestly don't think this could happen. Firstly at least last year with Emma they could use the excuse that she hadn't had any formal training. They certainly wouldn't be able to say that with Heather appearing on DWTS. And although I don't really buy into all the press reports and have no reason to dislike her, I don't think the BP will warm to her.

I don't think Heather would have the support of the BP either. Despite the likely cheerleading she'd be a cert to go first

BBC have denied the rumours, apparently because they fear she will face a backlash and not be liked by the GBP.
