The terrible 'All filmed in one day' shots of the 'fired' contestants leaving the building are usually pretty poor at best with them just wearing big long coats buttoned up to the neck for continuity, but it failed tongiht with Gerri suddenly wearing trousers! hehehe

I noticed that as well. I was always suspicious about the coats now I understand they all didn't join the dirty mac brigade.

It was totally inconvincing last night, the way her coat was buttoned right up to her neck obviously covering up what she was wearing.

I expect they were all behind that door, taking it in turns to be fillmed.

I also saw that and wondered what was going on

Last series the best one was when Samuel left the boardroom scene with a shaved head and came out the doors with hair!! They obviously filmed the leaving scene before he changed his hairstyle.

I also noticed that when Tre was talking on the mobile in the cab, the sky behind him was twilight but in the outside scenes, it was broad daylight at what was supposed to be the same time in almost the same part of London.

If you look on the floor as well i'm sure there is either some pieces of paper and also a wet patch which seems to be consistent all the way through the series.

They film their exit scenes on the same day and the same time so continuity errors are inevitable.

where is the boardroom, really?

It's in a studio so doesn't really exist - and the secretary is just one of the producers.

I come from Brentwood, where the Amstrad offices really are and find it funny when one minute they're in Brentwood and a second later they're in Canary Wharf!

What a cheap way of making television. Why not just film them when they actually leave? It can't be that complicated.

I have never noticed, not even the one with Samuel's hair.

Now I do, can't wait till next week just to see what I can spot. I think it's a nice little twist.

You should be not spotting that one with a forum name like yours

Because the studio where the boardroom is is quite far from Amstrads actual building. It would be a hassle to drive them there just so they could walk out of the building lol.

How about the beautiful sunny day shot sky lines, then when they go to the apprentices the sky is grey with light rain.

This week when Sophie left it was glaringly obvious. She came out in a completely different outfit - you could see it because her coat wasn't done up all the way

So are the walking out the building scenes shot BEFORE the season starts being filmed, so even the winner would shoot one of those scenes?

It's NEVER raining.

Remember last years final - it was quite obvious both Michelle & Ruth had been filmed being told "You're hired" as they couldn't keep a straight face.

I read this thread last week and had never noticed the lack of continuity before. However, I make a special point of looking at the exit shots this week....Sopie was wearing a predominantly black outfit in the boardroom and when she came out of the building she seemed to be wearing a green dress.

Will be watching for that again next week.

Her hair was also down in the boardroom and tied up when walking out lol.

It was a tidy job tonight! But only because Natalie seemed to like that necklace!

However it was another sunny day/interview in cab by night affair! - oh and when did they get back from Champneys?

loves it

Another one from last year is when Syed got fired, he's wearing black shoes when walking out of the board room but when they cut to him coming out of the glass doors he's wearing Brown shoes

I think the suitcase is just an overnight bag. They sneak bag to the house when everyone is gone to get the rest of their stuff. (Last year, one of them left a message.)
