It's still early in the series. I agree that they have bad qualities and are too arrogant, but perhaps they will learn something from the experience and get better.
I do think they seem to have have more ideas and put in more effort than some of the other candidaes. I also believe that, if you see another team member, including your leader, making what you genuinely believe is a mistake, you have a duty to mention it. I have no respect for the quiet ones who mutely follow, safe in the knowledge that if it all goes wrong they probably won't be called into the board room, and if they are, they can say they were just following orders. If AS pays one of these characters £100,000 he's a mug.
