Connecting Xbox to CRT computer monitor
I bought an Xbox today and purchased a VGA HD AV cable, so that I could use my Xbox on my CRT computer monitor.
When I went to plug it in, I noticed that there isn't a connector on the back for it - just the power connector and the monitor's VGA lead that goes to a computer. Can I buy something that will allow me to connect the Xbox AV cable to my monitor cable or will I need to buy a monitor with a VGA/DVI connector on the back? |

Is the monitor got a VGA hardwired into it. many monitors have a detatchable VGA Input and all you have to do is unscrew, detatch and reaplace the old one and replace it with your new VGA cable.

You may (if Ive understood what you've bought correctly) be able to buy a VGA gender changer for it. Maplin do them, I bought one for an old 24" CRT I had that had the wrong gender connection. Only a couple of quid after postage. Ebay have them too. VGA Gender Changer.
