Lohit: What a waste of space!
DomesticGoddess

He is a fence sitter, he doesn't talk, he doesn't interactive, he doesn't give his say in the boardroom, etc... Urgh! It drives me insane, to think that Sir Alan in previous series would always pick on the quiet ones to start talking, yet it never crossed his mind that Lohit is one of them.
At least Adam and Ghazal have send a word and you are actually start to like and hate them.

Now that there are 12 of them left, there is no excuse. They have enough air time for 1 hour, so start talkin Lohit!

OK - it was picked up on the 'You're fired' show (when they have to fill half an hour with not very much to talk about) but is it a fair assumption to say that he's done nothing very much based on a one-hour edit of a 48 hour (or however long it was) task?

People said that Miriam was invisible during Series 1 but she turned out to be one of the best people in there - even Alan Sugar regretted firing her.

It's too early to dismiss Lohit.

Fair enough, but even I noticed all the candidates of Series 1 and 2 straight away. By episode 2, I knew who was who and they started talking, from not very much to a lot.
But maybe because there are so many this year that they try to edit them as hard as possible.

Lohit will sneak it from behind

Blimey, give the guy a break! I hated the way he was singled out on the spinoff show last night. That was very unfair about the ladder, as SOMEONE had to hold the ladder. It's just another example of how people who are in supporting roles are never given much respect, I suppose.

Just because he's not a loudmouth and is quite quiet and considerate, he gets criticised!

No, I don't want a loudmouth. I mean someone who talks in a "healthy" way.

Look, being too quite isn't good, because you get walked all over by people in the business world if you are.

And don't forget it's probably the editing too that's at fault here. I suspect with the number of contestants to film at this stage, the loud ones will get all the camera time.

True what you say about being too quiet, but he's still there, so perhaps he's quietly loud, if you know what I mean?!

Lol!

I spotted him in the first episode, he did say a couple of things. He seems nice and as camp as a row of tents. Forgotten he was there after that though. I don't think he's a waste of space, he's just one of the quieter ones, quite cleverly just letting all the egos back stab each other to the death. Time will tell - he might be very good, but we'll never know unless Tre and Jadine shut up for 5 minutes.

Apparently I look like a Caucasian version of Lohit. Off Topic I know, but I felt it was important.

I'd go one further and say a row of pink tents - at Christmas time.

Yeah but he'd better start making an impact soon though or Sir Alan might have to come down hard on him.

Looking at him in action this week i saw that he had good soft skills, and no that's not an innuendo.

I agree. He had a good sales technique. There are many more weeks for him to shine. I'm guessing he'll be up for PM soon, and we'll be able to see whether he is quiet but capable or not...

I've a feeling he'll be made team leader next week. Then we'll see what he is made of.

Quiet ones you have to watch

Tim was relatively invisible until towards the end.

Exactly the kind of person SAS likes, in fact. Look at Tim, Michelle, Margaret and Nick. SAS doesn't like the loudmouths.

Lohit appears to have been edited out of much of the programme to date. Why....I haven't a clue!

I hope Lohit is PM next week. It would good to hear a few sentences from him in succession, and also to see what he's like in a leading role.
