These lot have a long way to go before they are anywhere near that benchmark.
SAS isn't looking for a leader though, is he?

The clue's in the title - he's looking for an apprentice.

I too am really surprised that Tre is married - not sure what his religion is, but I wonder if it might have been arranged? (Can't think of any other reason for anyone wanting to marry him, lol!) You said she was quiet - I bet she can't get a word in edgeways! Wonders will never cease......

It's a funny thing about how people come over in these things - I knew a bloke in a previous series who was a complete a*sehole in real life, but came over in the programme as quite reasonable?!

Jadine may be enthusiastic, but how good she is at seeing the full picture I'm not sure. She seems to be obsessed with branding and image to the point of ludicrousness. "Eclipse - clips geddit?" and I'm not sure she came up with anything useful on the girls task. She's certainly loud and opinionated, but does she come up with good suggestions? I quite like her because she's feisty, but I'm not yet sure if she's got what it takes.

Trouble with a Jadine or a Tre is that they tend to spoil the mood/ teamwork in a time with moaning/ bitching, and sway the weaker team-members.

Having said that, I think Tre is better as a leader than a follower...

To be fair, none of them did. £65.04 profit between the lot of them for a whole day's work that included selling themselves in pubs for a pound a go. Yet project leader Naomi's still in the running - hmmm, wonder why?

What is it about his chin and why is he a 'meister'? (well, apart from master of arrogance and obnoxiousness, I mean. ) Just curious.

Granted, but having leadership qualities will certainly be an advantage.

He isn't looking for an apprentice in the sense of a 17-year- old learning a mechanical trade, operating a machine or starting out as the office junior making tea, sorting post and doing photocopying.

He is looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and who will be given responsiblilty and will certainly require the ability to take charge of something, exercise leadership in the role and get things done by working with and through other people. So yes, he is looking for someone with leadership, entrepreneurial and management ability.

I don't think jadine is a female tre at all i think she's wicked. She's a brilliant leader and she only talks over people when they try to shut her down when without even hearing what she has o say. I personally think she's being picked on abit just for the way she talks, she has a huge set of lungs on her and isn't the most soft spoken person in the world and talks really fast which is proberly really annoying when she's in your face but most of the time she makes very valid points.
The girls team have just found their series scapegoat and are going to town on it! So easy to gang up and blame someone who is outspoken.

Not bitching perhaps but total inability to listen to anyone else.

I would HATE her as my boss!
I'm not saying I'd like to work for her either and she did annoy me during the first task with her heavy-handed approach but at least she seems motivated and strong unlike Naomi who just looked weak and incompetent.

Was that the brilliant leader who bought the wrong type of coffee in the first place and ordered Tre away from a successful selling pitch, or am I dreaming?

Why do you say in one breath that the team is scapegoating her and in the next that she is probably really annoying? Wouldn't they find her annoying then?

And why do Margaret and Nick describe her as a nightmare and disruptive etc?

They said that of Tre as well.

Tre probably has more desire to be there, he probably has better ideas than most, but his arrogance will scupper him, probably around episode 8/9.

Jadine will outlast Tre, by 1 episode.

So far, it appears he may have more business sense and better ideas than some of the others, including Jadine, much though I hate to say it of him, but there is no way he could work for Sugar - or anyone, really.

It's a bit early for me to hazard a guess as to how long he or Jadine may last. We haven't seen enough yet of some of the others to judge what the standard of competition is like. Going solely on their own personalities and behaviour, though, I think neither will make it to the end.

Hardly. In the argument with Naomi this week, she'd already had her say. Naomi repeated it back to her and Jadine could only confirm that she thought what she said was important. It looked like Jadine was just annoyed that Naomi was listening to someone else instead of her.

I reckon Jadine is a lot worse than Tre. He talks a lot of sense, and only gets angry when the people around him are being incompetent. Almost every decision or judgement Jadine has made has been wrong: pulling the van off a good pitch, splitting up a winning team out of personal ego, emphasising "the experience" over the coffee; she won ep1 mainly by luck. She wasn't much better in ep3. She complains a lot, but didn't have any ideas herself, just attacked Natalie who did have ideas.
