Static noise coming through my surround sound speakers
Hi
i have just bought a Philips HTS6510 DVD home theatre system to go with my new Toshiba 42wlT66 HD TV. I have tried playing DVD's in the Philips HTS6510 DVD home theatre system and I am getting what sounds like intermittent static coming through the speakers. Can any suggest why this is happening? TIA

OR wired up wrong the plus and minus.
do a sound check making sure rear speakers are loud enough/ turned on. |

Bad connection or there might be an internal problem with the home theater?
If you wire the speakers up backwards (+ and -) you will get sound that is out of phase, but wont make static - it just sounds weird - hard to locate which speaker the sound is coming from. |
