This is why Naomi should have been fired. Jadine was dead against it, and so - I think - was Gerri. Naomi was in charge, admitted it was tacky and still sanctioned it. I was disgusted! Kristina should have been summarily fired, even though she wasn't selected to go to the boardroom. They said themselves that they made more money by selling their bodies than face painting.
I only realised later that the guys had a van. Given the leafy suburb that Richmond is, I would have visited houses offering to remove any unwanted junk, like in garages and lofts. You could charge for this, and probably have sold whatever was cleared to make more money. That sort of business could have gone on into the night.
Gardening is a back breaker for too little money, and they weren't skilled at it. Face painting is never going to rake in much cash - it's usually done at fete's to raise charity money isn't it?
From early on, the half of the girls could have been selling the idea of running a karaoke for a pub, in return for a cut of the bar take.

From what I saw they weren't exactly 'kissing' the blokes anyway, I don't see what the problem is at all.

Without meaning to be cruel, it's blatantly obvious why Gerri and Jadine would have been against the idea and it had nothing to do with morals, etc . How can I put it nicely? They weren't likely to be the biggest earners, were they?
However, by that stage, I would have done anything Jadine was opposed to just to nark her.
I couldn't see what was wrong with it. Comparing it to prostitution is far too strong even if the girls had been dealing out full blown snogs (and if I was appalled at anything it was Sir A's remark) but they weren't, they were giving pecks on cheeks and hugs. What has happened to so many people's sense of humour in this country?
The right person went. I was surprised not to see Gerri go the first week. She made the same mistake again as in the when she also picked the wrong location but that time had managed to talk her way out of it. I wasn't surprised she didn't get a third chance.

Do you really think that the only objection any woman might have to selling kisses to strangers is that she might not be pretty enough?
Do you believe that all women who sell their 'favours' are pretty - or even that the most successful ones are?
Speaking for myself, I would not have been comfortable walking up to strangers offering kisses for cash. I don't know if that makes me ugly or humourless, but I don't believe that selling snogs is the kind of 'entrepreneurial spirit' that The Apprentice is supposed to be fostering - it seems a bit more 'rag week' to me.
I also agree Naomi deserved to be fired for allowing that. Kisses for a pound... even if they had won the task on that basis it would have been a hollow victory. There is no business acumen involved at all.
That Kristina had no problem giving a kiss for £1. I wonder what would she do for £100,000 p.a. eh? She comes across as (sorry to be harsh, but) a bit of a s**g to be honest!

Yes, I think Jadine is good-looking too.
Think the 'taking rubbish away' is *excellent* - most of us have got stuff in the shed/attic we keep meaning to take to the dump and never get round to - and as you say, there's the option of selling it on!

To be honest they needed to just make money, if they ended up with a van full of crap afterwards then so what, worry about that tomorrow.
Last year, the girls won the first task but ASA was unhappy about it because they used sex appeal to sell fruits, but they got away with it eventually after Jo and her big mouth forced them to have the treat.
But, now, SAS allowed to actually peck the lads in the public for money, with is more than just sex appeal.

Undeniably tacky, but it was at least done with a sense of humour. It was hardly taking them off down a back alley and stricking their tongues down old mens throats.
I think Sir Alan made his decision based on potential. Gerri had done nothing in the first three tasks, but Naomi (at least according to her team) had worked well in previous tasks. Jadine also has some potential, although I think she would have been fired were she not good entertainment.
