Cabling Info

I've seen on the net wall plates that can be used to send tv and satellite signals down one cable.

Currenly I have a loft set up for the terrestrial aerial, would I be able to use the same cable.

And anyway to send an upstream and downstream through one coaxial cable.

It's not a very good solution in the first place, and makes losses on both signals - but you certainly can't send in both directions!.
