Ive got msn messenger on my nokia e65. What i do is keep msn messenger sighned in and running in the background so it will give me an alert when i get a message.

But it automatically signs out after a bit. Im on vodafone. The connection to vodafone gprs disconnects.

How do i keep the connection on always?

Hi Imr4n

Sorry to read the problem your having, I work for Vodafone and may be able to help.

The may problem your having may be due to several reasons. It could the GPRS reception in your area is variable/ poor (this can be checked here), it may be the network is experiencing problems in your area, or it could just be a fault on the handset.

If you try putting your SIM into another handset, and then connect to GPRS, if it stays connected, you know it is a fault on the phone, if it doesn't, you will know it's the network.

Either way, once you have done the above, if you go to www.vodafone.co.uk, then contact us, you will be able to send us an email. If you include FIT165 in the body of the text, it will be routed to a team who monitor the public forums, and will be able to help resolve your problem.

Hope this helps
