I can't delete demo games from my phone
(Sony Eriksson)
Tried to delete the demo games that came with it as they are a waste of space. But it goes "File protected, cannot be deleted". Is there any way to un-protect them? Cheers in advance

I don't think you can. Don't worry too much about space, they'll be taking up much less than 1 photo....

I use MobiMB Mobile Media Browser. I'm not sure if it supports Sony Ericsson but I was able to access the file system on my Nokia 5300 and deleted the protected content.

Hello I was looking for this too , I'll try and get this MobiMB. I want to delete the ringtones and wallpapers from my Nokia 5300 main memory - or at least move them to the memory card. They take up about 2-3mb out of a pretty chocka 6mb i reckon.
Luckily theres a setting to save stuff by default to the memory card, but it's good to have the stuff you really need all the time in the main memory, so that it doesn't get lost when the card is swapped! |
