Oh, but the end is sooo sad!!

If I'm this bad at the end of week 1, what am I going to be like when we start approaching the final?!

I want Lee to do something bigger and better than this

Good final performance from Chris C. Sad to see him go though. Very sad. That bit where they take off his jacket was such good theatre!!! But he struggled to get that last guy. Poor thing. He can come and sing for me anytime

Agreed. The Lord got it right. I thought they were both a bit dodgy with that song.

I like the idea of them singing something different in the sing off and I like the idea of being told who was actually last.

A most refreshing change from the Cowell crap.

It happened in Maria last year, but Chris gave a brilliant performance in the final farewell song, why do they not manage to pull it out of the bag earlier on when it matters ?

Really enjoyed the show - what an ending, I was sadistically smiling throughout.

Chris was one of the weakest but he nailed his final song. A song too late.

I agree. If you really feel bad then listen to his version of "This Love" again...

Based on tonights performances I think it should have been between Anthony & Chris C for the sing off. Daniel & Chris B were good (shame about CB's teeth) Cant wait to see the dancing next week

Lewis might not have the biggest voice but he has easily got the biggest neck

That program was a campfest from the village of camp in campshire, campland on the continent of camp!

I'm not being wise after the event, but I predicted that we would see Chris C and Ben in the bottom 2. Somehow they came over as either the least fanciable or with the least charisma..... it just seemed obvious that they were going to be the ones in the bottom. Standard is very high though. I thought Connie stood out from the crowd even in week 1 last year but this time I'm having trouble picking the "star"....

Wow - great ending! Talk about wringing out the emotion.

I thought Chris C was great and he was excellent at the end, but Ben completely outsang him in the sing-off.

I thought Craig or Lewis should have gone. I wasn't so impressed with Lee or Seamus either, but I suspected they wouldn't be in much danger in week 1. Daniel - he's the one to beat.

Keith, Rob & Johndeep are my favourites.
I never thought I would ever watch this sort of show & enjoy it but I have been hooked from the first shows accidental viewing.
(They hooked me in whilst I was on my exercise bike after watching Dr Who - the swines.)

I love to see a grown man cry.

NB. I am also fascinated by the expressions on the Lords face.

Is that the one on the camp globe (disco ball style) spinning the campest universe?

I bet there's a lot of man lovin' off camera...

Sorry, I digress but Debbie Harry is on Dame Edna's show wearing an extraordinary outfit.

Haha, brilliant post!

It's well worth watching the Lord's face as the performer finishes, if you're quick you get a glance when he's not expecting it, and it's a hoot!

Also, Lee = this year's Connie.

I liked Lewis (if I'm right in thinking he's the david beckham guy?), Craig, Keith and Chris B! I saw the show two years ago and atm Chris B is definately the one I could see as Joseph...there's something about his mannerisms and the way he moves.... also like daniel
