Sorry but if this was 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Rings to Rule Them All' then someone like Keith would stand a chance but as it is, I don't know why he's there.

I knew Keith would be a hit with the girlies but he's not a Joseph. He'd made an excellent Mowgli

Mark and Mia - both correct.

When the talent is of the standard it is in this show I always feel sorry for the losers and no exception tonight. I thought Chris delivered a great losing performance and as an OP said - why couldn't he have done it before? But as another OP said - because the pressure was off.

All through the auditions my favourite was the boy who's a carer for his mother. I didn't think I'd missed a programme but I must have because I didn't see the elimination down to twelve. I think his nerves probably eliminated him.

Just found this thread...

What a high standard tonight - I was really impressed!

Favourites tonight were Rob, Seamus, Daniel and Keith... Lee is obviously very good, but didn't do much for me.

I think the right 2 were at the bottom, with Antony close behind.

I didn't realise another thread was running either. Since we're such fans, how do we get the threads merged?

I think Daniel is my definite favourite. I really liked his attitude, just so.. likeable.

Some of these lads would be great in Buddy - and Chris is Mowgli, you are right. Some look so Donovan-ish I just can't like them and try and make myself think Scofield to get Jason off my brain. Daniel was my fave and then Lee.

just spotted this thread, and although im feeling very patriotic (didnt the scottish lads do well ) i think seamus would carry the role best.

They are all blending into one currently for me. Cannot remember the names of any of them except Jondeep (and that is cos he irritated me) and Seamus (and that's becuase he is arrogant).

I think it was Daniel that I enjoyed most tonight.

I know what you mean - a lot of them merged into one for me too. The ones I can remember are generally the ones I really liked or wasn't particularly keen on.

Keith reminds me of a male version of Connie who won Maria last year. I don't know if it is a good or bad thing. Just listening to them while reading teletext at times Daniels voice seemed to be the best IMO.

I was also pleased that they stated who actually got the lowest vote from the public.

I thought Daniel was superb. Seemingly effortless singing, no gurning, and sold the song without overacting. If he doesn't win this someone ought to snap him up anyway. That voice is far too good to waste.

Go Daniel!

I think the show should be done without an udience because they are so irritating that I switched over and watched 'Face of Britain' instead. The moronic clapping absolutely drives me insane. If they don't tell the audience to stop I won't watch any more.

I really liked Lee. He's got great performance skills - Mack The Knife requires a lot of acting and personality and he pulled it off well.

In generally they were all pretty good but the other one who really stood out was Daniel. Great voice.

After watching tonight. I think that half of them, are quite out of their depth. The lads like Seamus, Lee, Rob and Daniel are very good, and IMO, one of them will be victorious.

Agree with Chris C going out, he was very weak. But I thought Antony was also deserving to go, as he was also weak and out of tune in his performance tonight.

My feelings too. Why can't Producers get it right? I like a live audience and I think it's crucial to this sort of show but the clockwork clapping is excruciating.

For Gawd's sake - if someone's rocking on stage give the audience rein to stand, clap, join in. We at home can judge the performance without having to look at what the floor manager/director/producer is telling us to appreciate via the 'directed' audience.

Loved Lee, Daniel and Keith's performance tonight

Chris Teeth is good but is scarey

I dislike Seamus immensely because he is extremely arrogant! Lewis is a Beckham lookalike - anyone notice the posh spice lookalike as one of his backing dancers...oh the irony!

How come Craig has come over all this is what i want to do? musical theatre? you weren't saying that 4 yrs ago on pop idol when being a pop star was your life!!

Ben is a Matt Willis lookalike so I will support him!

Rob the builder and JohnDeep the interest story don't do anything for me

But out of them all it is John Barryman for me - sheesh the thought of him in a loin cloth (swoon swoon) I know he isn't really gay he just hasn't found the right woman -------ME!!!!

Fantastic show and heads up on grease , bring on next week

Really enjoyed last night's show.

I was a tad disappointed that Craig wasn't voted out as i really can't warm to him at. The same with Seamus, a good voice but a rather unattractive personality.

I really like Lee, his performance of Mack The Knife was a class act and David was a bit of a surprise for me (I didn't even remember him from Joseph camp!) he has a fantastic voice. Against my better judgement i also have a soft spot for Keith who has a powerful voice and a cheeky personality and Johndeep who i just find rather endearing.

Have to agree with twingle in regards to the ever-so-lovely John Barrowman - i adore him!!!

Nobody has mentioned much about Antony and I think he might be a bit of a dark horse. Vocally last night he wasn't great but really knew how to use the camera and is quite pretty.

My favourite though is Daniel. His choice of song and think he stands a really good chance. Although his pic on the BBC website does him no justice at all.

Loving this show so much.......
