the recall date is the 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th June 2007 and ther are GCSE exams on every single one of those dates, so the appearance of a 16 year old is very unlikely. Bit stupid really, considering there might be some that miss ther exams and then get booted.

I'm sure some pushy parents wont care about exams and march their offspring there anyway.

I have A Level exams on the 5th and 6th June, but they are in the morning. So if I managed to get through the first round and my recall was on the 5th for example, I would go after as luckily my exams are morning exams. Unless you have to register at like 7am or something.

I'm sure if people are worth seeing they will arrange for them to attend another day. G4 said they had to ask for a change of date as they were called back on the day of their final recitals for their music degrees. I doubt X-Factor will miss out on talent!!

There's always me! I'm 16 but have been out of school since the age of 14 due to illness and complications, so perhaps it will be a good thing for me that not many other 16 year olds will necessaarily be able to attend their recalls, less competition
Nah, hopefully XF will sort something out, what has happened in the past with 16 year olds like Cassie and Shaun? I remember Maria Lawson having to cancel jer honeymoon to go to bootcamp, but that was slightly different, and she was willing and able to do so - it obviously paid off too!

If Simon Cowell really really wants a cheesy little 16 year old who will make all the old ladies go "awwwwwwwwwwwww" I'm sure he'll rearrange something.

16 year olds on TV annoy me (I'm 16 myself). No-one takes them seriously and they always have the sympathy vote. Annoying!

Damn you Ansil! . Yes , I'm 23 , I put that on purpose .

a) To see if anyone figures it out

b) Just to put a little meat to my point because people might think I hate teenagers or something!

I agree Blueberry in some ways. I also think having 14 year olds on it this year will bring sympathy vote. You can guarantee a 14-15 year old will be in the final 3 this year

But other than that, I don't think there'll be many young teens either. I don't even know if I'd be able to yet! Am not thinking too far ahead, I HAVE to get past this one first, but I have exams around that time as well - so who knows what will happen!

Would there not be any issue with having someone under 16 in the final 12 in relation to the amount of hours they can "work" in a week i.e. rehearsals etc

I've got my audition on the 4th which is fine, I'm just worried about the callbacks. I've got an exam on the 6th in the afternoon.

Ive got exams on all the callback dates which is a bit scary, I hope if (if if if) I get through we can work something out [and in answer to a previous post my mother is far from scary stage-school mother just to clarify ]

I think all the callbacks have been pushed back? Mine is July 14th.

maybe it's because people have exams then and they realise problems could occur, as the producers may have been told by lots of younger people who got callbacks that they have exams that day and can't attend second time round so maybe thats why some have been moved
