He is kind of the ideal joseph, in many ways. Not only can he sing, dance and act, but also in the character. Joseph is envied by all his brothers (as Lewis is by all the other Josephs, cos he's quite good looking

Lewis has the perfect look for Joseph. It's that Colgate smile and young innocent way of being just so much better looking and more talented than them that winds up the brothers. He also has the height and prescence to carry off the Egyptian part of the story too.
Did I mention that he's a damn good singer and dancer as well? And he's only seventeen! |

Well when we see him in a loin cloth we'll know!

I wasn't particularly impressed with him on saturday tbh. (he wasn't the worst or anything, just a bit average).
I'm still interested in how he'll do though. The judges seem to really like him and think he has more to give, and that has to mean something. I mean Helena from Maria was nothing short of awful on the first show , but she turned out to be the most talented singer out of the lot in the end. |

I'm not just saying this because I like Lewis (honest- they are a talented bunch on the whole) but I really did get the impression that he was being played down last week. I think that Helena is a good example. She turned out to be great after a so so start. He needs songs which show him off better than Faith, that's for sure. Bill Kenwright said that he would go into the rehearsal room with him tomorrow and he would be a sensation, and he wouldn't say that lightly, but that felt like him getting a word in where he could. Can't wait to see him really dance. If he got as far as that for Billy Elliot he must be worth watching. Don't mind if he's a slow burner- oh wow he's amazing give him the part now would probably be the kiss of death. Last edited by froglet : 16-04-2007 at 18:55. |

I was really excited to see Lewis perform after Joseph school but i did feel a little disappointed to be honest. He really stood out and i agree with him looking like a Joseph but it was Daniel who really impressed me and i didnt even notice him from Joseph school
![]() Hopefully Lewis will get a better song next week

They say he looks like David Beckham but he doesn't really. He does, however, look a lot like the guy in Emmerdale who also supposedly looks like Beckham (but doesn't really).

Well he did a great job this week. A very mature and sensitive performance.
Go Lewis.

When I first heard Lewis this week and what he was singing, I had an awful feeling he could be in the bottom two. Thankfully the lovely lad from Middlesborough pulled off a fantastic performance, and survived this week's elimination! ![]() I just hope he gets a song he can really do something with next week so that he can survive the double elimination ![]() Quote:

Incendentally, and unfortunately for Johndeep, my shouted "Mr Bean" whenever he was on I think Lewis was much better this week and i'm sure he'll be in it for a long while yet
