Gutted but I was expecting it.

Am so proud of him and we haven't seen the last of him. Lewis you were brilliant tonight and you've got a fabulous future ahead of you! You should be really really proud of yourself!

I agree. If you're reading this Lewis, you were fab and I'm so glad you were on the show or I wouldn't have seen you. I have been supporting you from the beginning as you have been my favourite from the first show I saw (show 3 I think).

You will go a long way. Perhaps I will see you perform one day. Chin up hunnybuns, we're all thinking of you!

I admired all finalists - but tbh Keith should have gone tonight. He's got a wonderful voice, but the songs tonight didn't show that, whereas Lewis showed that he has matured and he really is an all round performer.

Good luck Lewis - I hope the future is bright for you.

Yep didn't want Lewis to win - but I was blown away by his performances tonight he really gave it his all.

His farewell song was brilliant full of emotion - passion and sadness. Best of luck to him - and he's only 18 he'll be around for quite a while methinks!

Well Done Lewis. Best performance of the series tonight.

Thought you deserved to be in the final two.

I'm sure your phone will be ringing, with lots of offers, and some of them might be work

BTW popping in to say Lewis did great - his 1st performance of the night was spectacular (best of the 3) and for the 1st time I could see that star quality in him. I really thought he would come 2nd. His CED - so sweet (also glad its not only Ben who mucks up I really don't mean that badly it must have been very emotional for him ). He seemed a very sweet lad and I really hope he moves on to whatever is right for him.

I realy thought Lewis should have come second last night, he was brilliant in both of the performances. I was disapointed.

Well done Lewis, only 18 and he has a bright future ahead of him

Lewis, you were wonderful last night, stylish and . You showed everybody that you are a great talent and I am really looking forward to seeing how your career develops. Stay strong and confident because you have absolutely no reason to doubt yourself. Loved the way they finally let you show us a few great dance moves too.

I don't think ALW is going to forget you, and nor will I. If he has any sense he will be offering you two performances a week as Joseph to back Lee up. If he does I shall come and see you, but if it isn't in Joseph it will be in something else very soon.

Though I wasn't supporting Lewis I thought he was a great singer and definitely deserved to be i nthe final but mostly what I loved about him was his lovely sensitiveness of his nature and I wish him all the best in the future.

I didn't realise Lewis had so many people willing to wish him well on here - I thought the people who actually liked Lewis were in the minority.

I said I would be happy for him wherever he places - didn't stop me crying all through his "Close Every Door" though - I can't believe his voice cracked on "land"!

I'm sure he will have many offers, and really hope that he makes it big. I'll remember all the smiles he's brought me over the past few weeks, and because of that, I'll always be wishing him well.

I thought Lewis was great on Saturday. He has always been one of my favorites along with Ben and Keith (Keith who I supported from the beginning)

I hope he has a great career in front of him.

Well done Lewis I hope it's not the last we will see of you

Yes, agree with all good comments about Lewis. I have always liked him but I thought he was extra special in the final. As I have already posted, I'd love ALW to give him a couple of shows a week so Lee can rest his throat (think of what happened to Connie). That way he can gain the experience he needs. He's only just 18 don't forget!!!!!!! and all his fans can go and see him to give him confidence.

When putting the Best Group Performance thread together I was going to make game last a long time by eliminating but after some thought (i'm quite stupid at times). The performances can't really be carried forward as "your favourite is your favourite".

So I could post the top three in no particular order at the end of the game and then maybe these could be voted on again and then the two sections put together.

Any thoughts about this when you register your vote or pm me would be great.

Not many people have voted yet so I have extended the deadline to Wednesday closing at 8pm. Thanks

There won't be any cheating as you have to pm me with your answers.

There's a rumour that he has a part in the Sound of Music as Ralf, but I don't think it's been confirmed yet. There's some more info on the thread about where the josephs are now (can't remember the name). Hope it's true!

My goodness I can really see him doing that after his last few performances. If he can use his youth and humour in the early scenes and then show the kind of maturity he was developing it would be heartbreaking. Not too big an ask either for a first major role.

Go Lewis.
