Trixie, thanks for the photos. I can't help thinking that if Lewis had had his hair like that instead of in the girlie curl he always seemed to have on stage during the competition, he would have done a bit better and not been in the sing off so often!

Hi everybody

went to see Lewis last Saturday

After a good train journey from Devon we had to negotiate the underground in a Saturday dinner time ...what an experience that was

We arrived at the hotel at 2.55 pm ....5 mins before the matinee started ...I did jokingly say to hubby we could see if there were any tickets left for the matinee ...or was I joking ...anyway the answer was no and we booked into the hotel and recovered

We decided to walk to the theatre which was within sight of the hotel ...I looked with trepidation at the board in the foyer and breathed a sigh of relief as I read it was definitely Lewis playing Joseph ...also felt so proud seeing a poster with Lewis in his multicoloured coat

we had a walk around and decided to find the stage door to see Lewis after the performance ..at the end of the show Lewis came out and met everyone ...nanna Jean was there and I had a quick chat ...she said she was so proud

Back to the hotel to get ready and then it was off to the theatre for us

It gradually filled up ..a full house it looked like and there was an air of expectation...we couldn't get tickets at the front of the stalls we were in row R but we had a great view

Lewis was brilliant with a loud cheer and clapping he arrived on the stage...being honest the one thing that I thought would let him down was his acting as I never thought he came over as a strong actor until the semi final ...my goodness he didn't disappoint at all ...playing the vulnerable side of Joseph so well ..Close every door was amazing ...and then going on to the Prince of Egypt ...acting with authority

he played the humorous parts brilliantly ..really bringing his own sense of fun into the role

The cast was brilliant and they played off each other wonderfully

It all ended with a standing ovation ...several curtain calls and the final one Lewis bent down and waved under the curtain just before the curtain finally met the stage

For an 18 year old he is an amazing talent that can only grow ....well done Lewis ..an absolute star

He came out and met everyone at the stage door ...this was the third time I've met him and he seemed quite subdued and quiet ...for him ...maybe it was the thought of it being the last performance until March

anyway a brilliant night ...thanks Lewis

hope that wasn't too long

No such thing as too long when you're talking about reviews

Kirstee over on CB's thread has just posted her review and she thought he was great too. You can't both be wrong...

So glad you enjoyed it and I bet the family were really proud. Do you think he was just subdued as he was totally knackered?

Wish I could see it... but my only trip to the WE this year will be to see Hairspray as a birthday treat at the end of March. Wonder if I could persuade OH to see both shows over the 2 days - I could try to sell it as a 2 for 1 . Don't hold your breath...

Yes, it was a great review Judy So pleased you had a great time. Kirstee on Chris's thread said Lewis seemed really tired afterwards, I guess the emotional strain on one so young must be very tiring But he came through it brilliantly. Knew after seeing him on tour in Southend he would be a big star

Great Review Judali,

Glad you had such a wonderful time seeing Lewis. It sounds as though he did fantastically well and I am so pleased for him. Great you got to meet him again too, lucky, lucky you.

I am still so glad I got to see Lewis in the role of Joseph whilst poor Lee was off sick on 7th December, it was a wonderful night.

I can't wait to see him with the rest of the "Dream on" boys at the concert on the 17th February. Will you be there too, which row will you be in?

Also, can't wait to see Lewis in March when I think Lee is on holiday again. I've think I've already posted that I am going with my sister and brother-in-law to a matinee performance (so hope Lewis will be doing the matinee perf as when we went to see Sound of Music last week we hoped it would be Aoife - Irish Maria but it was the understudy doing the part instead which was a shame, didn't spoil the show though as it was still really good, but I will keep my fingers crossed that Lewis will be doing the show that we are going to see as I so want to see him playing Joseph again).

Did you watch the Dream On boys on This Morning on the 15th Jan, it was a great performance even though I think they were a little nervous but they looked great and sang really well.

Take care,

Love Siouxsie xxx

Hi BB,

How are you.

Might have posted on Craig's thread a while ago that we are off to see Hairspray at the end of Feb. It will be me, my sister and another friend seeing it as he is paying for the tickets as a birthday present for me. Can't wait to see it as the reviews have been fantastic. Will be interesting to see Michael Ball in a dress!!!

I haven't seen the film and have purposely not bought the DVD so that I can go into the show with nothing to compare it to. One of my colleagues saw it twice recently and he said it was one of the best shows he has ever seen and being a real theatre buff he is very fussy so high praise indeed.

Hope you are ok,

Take care,

Love Siouxsie xxx

Hi Trixie,

Oh my goodness, thank you so much for posting these gorgeous pictures on here.

Am especially loving the ones that show Craig and Lewis together. Don't they look so handsome and gorgeous. Thank you so much, will have to keep looking at these all day now.

Thank you for all you are doing with supporting the Dream On boys. You are a treasure.

Ooh might stop by Chris B's thread before going back on Craig's thread to do a quick post then pop back to Craig's thread.

It's great that Lewis is getting more people posting on here now. I think Red Lady and I were worried that not so many people posted because Lewis has his own website too but brill that so many of the Craigettes are now coming on here too. Just feel bad that with all my workload and family stuff going on that I haven't been able to post as much as usual as I really miss chatting to everyone on the threads.

Take care,

Love Siouxsie xxx

PS Well done to Judali and Red Lady for keeping Lewis's thread going with their lovely comments and hi to all the other Lewis fans who post on here.

By the way, do the Lewis fans have a name?

Hiya Siouxsie

I thought I'd read somewhere that you were seeing Hairspray before me. If it's half as good as I've heard I think we're both in for a treat. Can't wait to hear what you think once you've seen it.

Judy - is there no way you can persuade him to make the trip to London for the Palladium gig? I know its a long way but he's missing out on a theatre full of women - how can he possible resist

oh ...it' so nice to feel wanted ....I've just read your posts out .....hubby gave one of those looks ....I think it meant ...don't even ask

will have to make sure we meet up when something else is organised

Siouxsie .....I'm in the middle of persuading hubby to go to the matinee with Lewis on 15th March ......long story but we have to have a valid excuse of not going to something we've been invited to as we don't want to go ...when we were invited I blurted out we couldn't go as we were in London ...knowing full well that was the date lewis was doing Joseph

sometimes being a woman and being devious go together

Think we've been called Bradlettes and LuLu's recently
