His mum does kind of irritate me, but it doesn't deter me from supporting Lewis. I went out Saturday night, so didn't catch the show. I'm so glad, because I probably would have hysterically killed myself with Lewis in the bottom two against Daniel, my 2 favourite Josephs.
It was not good. You were well out of it.

How worried is everyone else about this week?

What with angry Daniel supporters vowing to get revenge and the coat curse, I'm more worried than ever.

Daniel was really sweet about Lewis in his podcast. He thinks he is a real contender, picked him as his second favourite I think, after Lee.

Thanks for mentioning that . My computer seems to hate the BBC and won't let me download the podcasts.
Maybe the Daniel fans won't be so upset with Lewis now?

Yeah, certainly softened me up a lot . Daniel got really emotional about him actually, looks like they're very close.

He certainly is a contender. Don't give up hope yet. There was a reason why Bill said at the beginning that he would go into rehearsals with him tomorrow- and it wasn't just his usual schmoozing either, he had to work to get it in and I got the impression that they didn't really want it said. There is also a reason why ALW has kept him in the competition, and he knows more about musical theatre, and has seen more of Lewis than any of us.

Think about this. If he was in the show would you be able to cast him as one of the other brothers? I think not. He would stand out too much. He does have prescence, he's just very young and doesn't always know how to use and direct it yet.

I don't wonder Daniel liked him. He is sweet, talented and eager to learn. That is very touching if you're an experienced pro.

Daniel did pick Lewis as second favourite but said he thinks it woulds be better for Lewis to come second for his own sake. By the way it was so sweet the way Lewis said to Daniel 'don't worry Daniel' just before the sing off - they obviously were really good friends. I think people should lay off Lewis now - he's doing his best like all of them and he seems to have a very sweet nature.

That really touched me when Lewis said "Don't worry Daniel!"- it was almost to me like he was saying "Don't worry I'm going not you" Bless him so much

I can understand what Daniel means. Second might well be the best result for Lewis. Lot's of exposure and training without the risk of being pushed forward too early.
He is very sweet and very talented. Some of the comments on here have been horrible and completely personal and undeserved. Now that Lee is firm favourite he has been getting some stick too. Lewis must have something if they are going to take the time to go for him.

I'm sure that Daniel was someone for Lewis to look up to ... he's been around and done some great shows ... all that experience for Lewis to draw on.

That might well be why Keith is missing him around this week as well. We don't get to see this behind the scenes bonding that clearly happens.

I really hope that Lewis gets a great song and avoids the bottom two ... and can show us that ALW was right in keeping him in - and I hope people give him the chance to do so. I'm a Daniel fan, but I don't blame Lewis for his departure ... I hope others don't start playing the blame game.

I so want to see him give the kind of performance that I am sure he is capable of. The song choices have been very poor for him. I think that he will really give it everything next week given the right song. He won't want to look bad after Daniel went, he had a look on his face at the end of the last show that seemed very moved, and moved in an adult kind of way too. That will have helped him. He will also feel that he has mothing to lose.

Go Lewis.

Lewis fans just need to be reminded to keep voting!

He can do it, there's no doubt about it, the only problem lies with his confidence!

It's a real cliffhanger in it's way. If the lack of confidence is down to the overwhelming nature of the whole experience then he could do it. He will have learned huge amounts last week. That's what I'm depending on. We'll know very quickly as soon as he starts singing. He has had bursts of confidence, but that's not enough.

You know what- I bet he has been amazing in rehearsals. Can't prove it but it would explain some of his comments from the panel and it would especially explain why ALW kept him in.

I agree with everything you've said. I do believe he has the potential to be a brilliant Joseph- it's merely his confidence (or lack of it) that needs kicking into touch

Hello Lewis fans!
Not long to go now *bites nails nervously*

I had a moment of sheer panic earlier, as we booked tickets to go and see Pirates of the Caribbean in advance, for tomorrow. I was rushing round trying to find the tickets because I know the film is almost three and a half hours long and I was worried about missing Lewis and ADWD. (Sad, I know! ). Luckily, the film starts at 3, and ADWD isn't until 8:05pm.

I will try and enjoy the movie, but I just know I'll be in turmoil worrying about Lewis (....what was it I said after The X Factor about not getting addicted to any more reality TV music shows?)!

I am so nervous for him too. I think it's the fact that I KNOW he can do it if he loosens up that gets to me.

Go Lewis.

I hope Lewis does well this week, i think he has something really appealing about him, i just hope that being in the bottom 2 the last few weeks doesn't affect him too much. He does deserve to be in the comp, hopefully he will start to believe that himself soon. good luck lewis.

Right. I am going to find the phone, make my mug of coffee and install myself on the settee.

He can do it. I know he can.

Go Lewis.

Just coming on here as a Daniel fan to say that I thought your boy did well tonight - I hope he stays in.

Don't worry about angry Dan fans.....they were obviously good friends those two, and I don't think anyone blames Lewis for Daniel's exit.

Good luck!

Thank you! It can't be as painful as watching Daniel and Lewis sing off last week...................... can it?

I really hope he's not in the sing-off. Tonight his performance brought a tear to my eye!

Well done Lewis! That was much the best performance you have done so far. You absolutely deserve to still be there.

Lewis is in the semi-final, nothing more than he truly deserves!

And he defeated the curse of the coat!
