yay well done Lewis
I was so glad he got through - he certainly deserves it

Yes, I was so pleased for him when he was saved first off. I really thought he would go tonight after the comments from that nasty badly dressed Torchwood twit.

"Yay", "yay", and thrice "yay"

I am pretty sure that Lee will win though, and I have no objection to that. I am only sorry that Craig had to go so soon. It should have been Ben or the baby-faced one to go imh.

And I say again, yay!

It's the baby faced one you have to watch.

I was really impressed with Lewis this week. It's the first time that he's drawn me into a song. No doubt he was nervous about the last couple of sing offs, but good luck to him for not letting that put him off.

OH MY GOSH! HE'S STILL THERE!!!

Honestly, I just sat laughing to myself throughout the sing off once he had been told he was safe first, I honestly couldn't believe it. I think that's just what he needed after being in the sing off for two consecutive weeks. I just hope he doesn't now become complacent and think he's safe - he really needs to keep working hard.

I'm not as paranoid about him going as I was this time last week, but I understand there's a good chance he'll be in the sing off (probably against Ben - not only because of the coat curse, but also because I think the final place in the final is going to be a battle between those two) and possibly go home; but it also rests on how he is portrayed in his VT (although not always - Keith this week for example) and on his performance on the night. Good luck to him! He deserves a place in the final after the rollercoaster ride he's been on these past few weeks - we must remember he's just 17.

Also, did anyone else think the shot of him brushing his teeth with his hair all over the place in the VT to show the Joseph's week was just unbelieveably cute? If anyone can't remember, I'll take a screenshot for them.

Lewis does grown on you, doesn't he?
As I've said elsewhere, it's the very fact he seems by nature to be the most timid yet manages to overcome all these obstacles and negative criticisms and even scoffing and bounce back that truly impresses me. And his voice is far from the worst...that prize goes to Ben. I bet if Lewis won he'd proves all his doubters wrong! I did like his performance on Saturday night even if that panel again found it necessary to slate him yet again. As Daniel Boys is no longer in the running, I find myself more and more drawn to wee Lewis who also has an very irrepressible sense of fun, 'buzzing like a bee'!!

They are not giving him credit for it but he is on one of the steepest learning curves in the competition. Not so much in terms of performance but as a seventeen year old lad who has loads of talent which is just beginning to grow and develop. He's tall and striking so people forget his age. I would rather let him have a go at Joseph any day than give it to Keith or Ben.

lewis is not gay!
Blunderbuss

I couldn't care less whether any of them are gay or not, but I think it's a shame that he's out of the competition. I was astonished that he was only 17 - he may be a bit emotional but he could sing, physically he looked like a man as opposed to a boy (sorry, Keith, fans) and if he could stop the wide eyed look, which he had a tendency to bring to every performance, he really could have been a good Joseph. The fact that he was fair haired (not, possibly, the original Joseph's colouring) didn't stop Jason Donovan doing it!

I think that your getting Lewis and Craig mixed up. Lewis is still there.

I have just come to the shocking conclusion that the chances of Lewis winning this show are indeed very slim

Lee - the standout favourite, not only on here but for most of the commenters on the BBC site too.

Keith - If we're being brutally honest, probably Lee's only real competition. Add to that that his votes will have probably doubled, as Scotland vote to do their country proud (although, I do understand that might not necessarily be true). At least, my Keith - loving friend would be happy if he won.....

Ben - His support (with the exception of this week) has just grown and grown. It's between him and Lewis for the final final place IMO, and with the public choosing (I don't think ALW has a say anymore?) then it's probably going to be bye bye Lewis

The thing is, after the Daniel fiasco, I'll always have a slight paranoia about the phonelines, although I probably shouldn't. I may even break my own rules and vote, just to try and help the lovely Lewis the lionheart into the final . IMO Lewis has got to be brilliant this week, maybe even better than last; more rides on this weeks performance. Like a place in the final.

Good luck to him x

I vote for Keith because he has an amazing voice. I do vote for Lewis as well though
Keith does seem to have a lot of support up here though - everyone at my school loves him

I really hope Lewis beats Ben for a place in the final!! Go Lewis!!!

I was very glad that Lewis escaped the sing off this week - especially as the judges harped on about how he should have gone home.

Just got to pop in and say that after watching the dirty dancing clip 500,000 times (all in the name of reseacrh of course!!) I finally saw that star quality in Lewis. Ben had the dance moves but Lewis had the sexy *come and do me face*

Well done Lewis I hope he comes in front of Keith who has the most wonderful voice but no stage presence. He looks totally lost in all the group numbers

Although a Lee fan I was really glad that Lewis wasn't in the sing-off this week and thought it was right of them to tell him first. It must have been horrible for him the last 2 weeks, especially with some of the comments from the panel. Also thought he might be a bit concerned with all that stuff about 'the curse of the coat'!

''Lewis, the Lionheart''...love it!! It sums up what is so appealing about this kid!!

As a Scot I do like Keith but NOT because he's Scottish, just I find his voice and stage manner very impressive. He's less 'fragile' than Lewis seems, but Lewis could be the dark horse that surprises us all, takes he prize and triumphs!!

My top vote, all along went to Dan who instantly captured my heart (and still does) but wee Lewis grows on you too. The only remaining guy I find myself indifferent to is Ben which may be very unfair but he does have a way with him that bugs me.

I thought that turn of phrase was so lovely, lol. It just made me want to give him a big cuddle! (Even bigger than usual ).

I'm sorry to say that I doubt it . And it's not because I don't have faith in Lewis, it's because I don't have faith in the voting public - so come on Lewis lovers, pick up your phones!
