I'm so pleased that Lewis has got through to the final.

I still think that Lee would make the best Joseph, but ALW chose well tonight - Ben should have gone before Seamus did

I'm afraid Lee's my favourite, but I have to say, I gave a vote to Lewis, too, tonight as I think he equalled Lee in their duet.

Can I just say as a fan of Ben (and also Lee) how well I thought Lewis did tonight, the spark became a flame. His solo performance was confident with strong vocals.

He displayed acting ability i never thought he was capable of in 'oh what a circus' although Lee had the advantage of suiting the song (and the part of Che) to a tee Lewis matched him.

In the singoff his voice was controlled and he used so much light and shade.

Lewis for second place! lol

Yup, all praise where praise is due, this kid has what it takes and tonight he really shone marvellously both in the duet and the solo. They keep saying he's too brittle to weather any adverse critics but just look at how he's bounced back as resilliant as ever. Well, well, done, kiddo, you certainly strike me as one who will not indeed let the public down in the role.

Is Lewis' Dad still on the scene? Only don't think I've seen him around. Odd as you'd think any father would be proud to have a son like Lewis....he certainly makes me feel very paternal towards him and I rarely feel that about kids!
You want to protect him but also see him fly!

Morning all

Ben fan here (like you didn't know) but just wanted to say well done Lewis . That sing off was a real close call but I think you edged out on the vocals and ALW was right to save you.........ooooooo why couldn't he save you both

Anyway good luck for next week and hope you manage to topple that Scottish vote

Just thought I'd pop in and say well done to Lewis, he duetted brilliantly with Lee last night, showed real maturity in the song.

*hugs for all*

*Knock Knock* ... will you accept a visit from one of Ben's Angels?

Just wanted to say no hard feelings about last night (although obviously I'm gutted). I wish Lewis all the best for next Saturday.

IMO any of the 3 finalists could win now, have a good week

I just want to say that Lewis deserved to go through yesterday. His performance with Lee really wowed me-as a Lee fan I was expecting him to shine (sorry) but I felt Lewis held his own.

I wish him all the best in the final-even though I feel Lee should win (ever scince the first show ) I would love to see Lewis in second place-he will be amazing with a few more years experience.

I meant Lee's fan's would be the ones doing the lynching! Not Lee himself, lol

Of course we'll accept you Holza you're welcome in this thread any time. Thanks for your kind words .

I can't believe Lewis is still there!!! After spending all of last night shaking and feeling sick (!) I still can't come to terms with it! Obviously, I like to see Lewis go on and win it, but TBH I think the chances of that are very slim, but you never know what might happen. Although I'm backing Lewis to win, I won't be too distraught if he doesn't as all along I've said that I just want to see our boy in the final. I felt so proud of him when he sang that duet with Lee last night; I think that's the best thing ALW could have done for Lewis, and I know it made a lot of people sit up and notice him as a contender for the first time.

Good Luck to you Lewis; we all wish you the absolute very best. After all, YOU'RE IN THE FINAL!

I just watched it all through late as I've been out. Oh my goodness has that boy ever grown up. I really thought he might be a gonner when I heard the words Sweet Caroline, but he did it very well and the rest was amazing. Loved his duet with Lee. There is a focus about him now and a maturity when he performs which wasn't there before. This process has hothoused a very well trained young guy into a really mature performer. It began with the singoff against Daniel and he is just flying now. After Oh What a Circus I relaxed a bit as I "knew" that he would be singing off against Ben and after that performance I was confident that ALW would save him.

Next week? I reckon that (deservedly) Lee is going to win. If I were ALW I would give Lewis two performances a week as he has Aiofe in SOM, and I wouldn't let Keith anywhere near Joseph. Keith has a great future but not just yet, and I have a feeling it may not be in musical theatre. Music yes, of course, he has a great voice.

I am SO HAPPY that Lewis is still there and I shall be rooting for him next week.

Go Lewis.
