Connecting my Alba Recordable DVD Player to a Virgin Box and my TV?
Would anyone be able to give me a step-by-step guide on how to connect my Alba Recordable DVD Player to my Virgin Box and TV easily please?
I've lost the instruction manual!

Scart out from cable to AV2 input on DVD Recorder.
Scart out from DVD Recorder AV1 to TV AV1. RF out from Cable to Aerial in on DVDR. RF Out from DVDR to TV Aerial in. To record cable select AV2 as the source to record from on the DVDR. |

Thanks very much John - that's worked fine, except now my telly is in permanent letterbox and my V Box settings don't seem to change it. I used to have this problem with the VCR but simply turning on my VCR got me back to normal vision. Any suggestions?

There will be an aspect ratio setting on the DVDR so make sure that is set to 16x9 if your TV is a widescreen. Make sure you are using fully wired scart leads. |
