Barry is what Neanderthal man must have looked like. If he wasn't so dim then I think he would be a real thug. Small minded, selfish, nasty .... wasn't he horrible to Natalie when she turned up for the funeral? What happened to "I love you SO much ..." Why does he always have to live his life in the limelight?

What's been unbelievable for me is the way Barry took over the funeral. Legally he has nothing to do with the funeral - Pat was Roy's next of kin and the funeral was HER responsibility, not his (as was pointed out to me and my brother when we arranged my father's funeral). Kick him into touch, Pat.

I was so glad to see Barry get his come uppance last night. As my Mum would put it, he had a case of the poor me's. Roy was a lovely bloke and would be turning in his grave at Barry's behaviour. Since his Dad died, Barry hasn't once considered what he would have wanted.
It would be a nice refreshing change if when Barry leaves he is able to look back and realise the mistakes he's made and take responsibility for his own actions, but probably he'll just slink off as hapless Barry leaving a big mess behind him.

I didn't actually find it that funny for some reason 
I know he's selfish and twisted towards Pat but it didn't make a hit with me. Dunno why. Even better if it was Peggy instead, eh?
