Ben & Rob. It's only a matter of time, why prolong the inevitable.

Ooh sorry!

That's the thing with forums (or maybe my reading skills ) you can never tell how someone is saying something.

I've never got the impression that Chris was that popular.

I couldn't help laughing at this, but it is a good point, well made.

I agree. Its not really relevant to the show and I think they should have left the issue after show one. Instead, after a good perfirmance last week, the judges barely mentioned it, instead telling him to become part of the 'company'.

I think you can get away with one or 2 eyebrow raises in a song - but that was way too many and so they lost their impact and just made him look a bit pathetic.

Him & Ben to go (or Craig - who I kind of like, but I just can't get on with his hair)

I agree with you in regard to Craig. He leaves me cold, he seems to lack the ability to instill emotion and genuine feeling into a song.

I found myself feeling that way about him when he was trying to make the final cut on Pop Idol.

He may now be older, but he doesn't seem to have developed his craft very well.

I hope not, just like I hope the preconceived ideas about Daniel and Lee won't, and just like I hope the teeny votes won't be the making of also-rans like Lewis or Antony - particularly as in my opinion, neither of their doppelgangers, David Beckham and Robbie Williams, are anything to celebrate in the looks department.

You can get away with an eyebrow raise per syllable if you have the voice but, unfortunately for him, Antony does not.

People criticise Denise van Outen's comments and her credentials for being on the panel (despite her West End, Broadway and TV successes) but it would appear that these talentless, so-called "pretty" boys being put through were down to John Barrowman. Quelle surprise

Didn't he get some over the top comments from the judges?

I'm sure I caught a mexican wave in the mid section

Don't want it to be Craig. He is a good singer - I've watched the playback and I do like him. Hope he heeds John B's words and doesn't sound 'apologetic' this week. He 's got to ditch the nerves and do it like he knows he can.
I so want this to be the week he proves himself - I can't keep this solo campaign up for much longer lol

Ben and Antony to go next - but I see Chris B is poorly so it's not looking good for him this week.

Dunno about the boys - Ben owes his presence there to John Barrowman but none of the others AFAIK. Maybe Denise favours the blonds?

IMO Ben is the most likely to go this week, I really can't understand what JB sees in him. I have little idea who the other will be although I'd be very surprised if Daniel, Lee and Lewis don't make it.

I like Craig too, seems like a nice chap. Needs a confidence boost this week. Agree also that Ben & Antony should go. With Ben i think we all know it's just a matter of time and Antony, the eye brows could manage another week but the rest of him should go!!

For me Craig just doesn't have the stage presence needed to play a lead part in a show like Joseph. Or any other musical for that matter.

He is what he is, a night club singer.

Not a big Craig fan then?

Whilst I don't count myself as being in his fan club, I am giving a detached opinion of his abilities to my eye and ear.

There are a others that I do like, but likewise don't think they'd make the cut as a lead in the show. Rob needs to have more experience, but has great potential. I think Keith similarly has fantastic potential, but not as Joseph.

Going back to Craig - I'm amused that he's called a night club singer when he apparently appears with a male strip group!

Perhaps he's accompanied by the organ.

I'm only going by the info available on the Official BBC Any Dream Will Do site. It says that until this opportunity he was with 'G-Force' a male strip act. He only sang while they took their clothes off apparently, which sounds too bizarre for words!

I think that ben should go, as sweet as he is, i just don't beleive that he could play Joseph for numerous reasons but that is my personal opinion!
