I'm not sure we have the time or money to install Sky+ before the wedding now! There is one way I could do it, hubby 2 be is a computer whizz and he sometimes records things off sky onto his laptop, so we could take the laptop to the hotel and then set it up in the afternoon to record the show!

Is that really sad though, taking the laptop to my wedding? And how am I going to explain to my hubby 2 be that's what i want to do!!?

Its not sad in the slightest and its a great solution to your problem If your hubby 2b is anything like my oh, he'll understand. My poor oh hasnt seen much of me since ADWD started. I'm usually to be found here at some point of the day, and then again in the evenings till the wee hours!

I take it there is no word on what Daniel is singing this week? If he still doesnt get to sing a ballad or showtune then I am going to be very annoyed. He is the only singer that has never sung a proper ballad and has had to fight against some awful songchoices in my opinion. Are producers that worried that he will blow the other competitors away if he gets the sort of songchoices they have been getting? It has really been an uphill battle with him so far because of things out of his control. Keith has had some easy songs the last few weeks and Lee sings mostly ballads. I will be quite angry if Keith goes farther than Daniel in this competition.
Daniel has to pull out all the stops this week. Lets hope ALW hasnt let him down.

I don't think ALW will let him down. I get the feeling that Daniel has grown on him over the weeks. Remember he was the only one who said anything negative to him on the first live show when everyone was raving about him. I think he felt people were probably being too blown away by his voice - and he wanted to test him by giving him many different styles (much more than any of the others I think!).
As the weeks have progressed he has seemed to be more and more on Daniel's side, even when the rest of the panel weren't. Whats more apparently, according to someone who was in the live audience on Saturday night, his kids were carrying banners supporting him. I think ALW certainly wants him to go to the final, he may have another role in mind for him, rather than Joseph, when the series ends.

I also have a sneaky feeling that, after last week Daniel may have said something to ALW along the lines of 'now that I have proved to you that I can do different styles' can I have a song that shows my voice off to best advantage'. Over the weeks he has heard Lee and Keith sing such wonderful ballads and he must have felt very frustrated knowing that he could do better.

I also think that ALW has a soft spot for Daniel, more so after he over ruled Denise and John the other week. If you are reading this Milord, (or more likely,some of your minions), please can you give Daniel a ballad so we can fall even more in love with him

So do i, every so often you can see ALW smiling when Daniel is singing.
Plus, did DVO apologise for her stoppy comments last week? if she did i'll like her again.
Also, as my son puts it, Zoe two heads hasn't got a clue what shes talking about.

Can you imagine if Daniel had been given 'Always on My Mind' and Keith had been given 'Maggie May'? Daniel certainly would still have been second favourite.

At this stage songs matter so much. After all it tends to be women / girls who vote (not always but mainly) and the fact is that slush sells. Sounds sexist I know but it is true! ( I am a straight female by the way!). The person who gets the slushy ballad is always at an advantage (except if you are Ben of course )

I agree with you.....but the body language between Daniel and ALW and thats positive....they dont even know they are doing it...which is fun....

Daniel should get a decent song...doesnt mean he will....maybe AWL knows he can perform it.....Might be other things he is testing...but have you noticed over the last couple of weeks....Daniel...and sometimes lee are getting more TV coverage. (dam camera man)..

By the way, has anyone seen - there is a small piece in OK magazine about the boys........Daniel is described as being "hunky", and is apparently a great fan of the magazine!! (You've got to laugh........... )!!
