I think he could suit another role a lot better, I could see him playing a really strong character, he did have a great sense of strength. His voice alone was massively powerful.

Hi I know I am a Lee fan..but I was shocked about Daniel..and felt for his supporters..The emotion he put into that sing off far outweighed Lewis...and his voice.Don't know what Is going on ..and even Lee could go with this strange shows outcome.
All I can say Is Daniel should get a job as soon as poss In the West end ..he deserves It.

No one believe's that you were out performed tonight, even some kind Lee fans are in agreement. This was a tactical decision and ALW got it wrong. All he did by removing you was make it easier for Lee. Im sure Lee would have preferred to have won it on his own merit. ALW took that away from him tonight and in doing so dumbed down the whole show.
You were consistant the whole way through, you were original, creative, stunning, with huge stage appeal and stardom. No way will your light fade. ALW dumbed down his own show, which makes his glowing comments rather stupid.
Daniel you will and are a star.....there is on one I would rather see than you as a leading man.....I look forward to the day I tell you that.

I second all of that!! Daniel has been excellent on the show, and in my eyes, really made it worth watching. I most certainly will be finding something else to do on Saturday nights!

I'm not a fan of musicals, but Daniel Boys could change that for me. The first notes of his Evergreen tonight were sublime. That man has the best voice in this whole competition, and it's appalling he's been voted out 1) from the public, and 2) from ALW.
Daniel has a rare talent: to bring emotion out in song. Not many people can do that, and he's the only one on this show who's able. Even professional Lee, while he has a professional voice, it just leaves me cold. The rest of them are mediocre at best.
OK, so he may not be Joseph this time round, but he's surely going to go on to great things. Even Barrowman had tears in his eyes.

I've only read a little of what's been said and am really upset that Daniel's gone, but ALW only did what the public did.
If Daniel's fans had voted with their money maybe ALW would've saved him.
As Connie said allegedly "If people can't be arsed to spend 50p on a couple of phonecalls, they're not gonna spend £50 on a ticket".
