Daneil looks younger than Lee...and he's too old....so there is not that much difference between the two...ALW cant have his cake and eat it.....

Daniel didnt connect with ALW, mainly due to song choices. To me looking back Daniel just doesnt look like a Joseph imo

I agree with you......they could have given him this role..without the competition...they have worked with him long enough.......doesnt add up

im not too sure on that........AWL has had plenty of time to choose him for this role.....so why now......

I dont think the votes count for anything......i think its all PR.....ALW would never trust Joe public to choose his Joseph.....way too much money involved....business is business.......and hes in the business to make money and success......phone votes....just add to the fun.....but dont count

Maybe his true potential hasn't been seen until this programme.

Lee has works with ALW now so why not give him the job if he thinks he is so right for it......Lee looks too old for a young youthful 17 year old....

I feel he is being set up......

He has been in the touring Joseph..worked with ALW ....and he just sees it now.....singing pop songs......youve got to doubt that........

i've just been listening to recordings of old Joseph productions. There's Jason Donovan who, to my mind still holds the crown as it suited his acting talents and vocal abilities to a tee. Then there was Paul Jones..mmm, not so sure of that one; and finally Phil Schofield's...again , nice bloke but not a patch on Jason. Oddly, schmaltzy though it sound, I found the numbers truly moving this time, mainly because I kept thinking this role SHOULD be Daniel's. I know he has lots of champions but some seem to think he'd be just as good in another role and maybe, just maybe, Joseph wouldn't be the ideal one for him. I have NEVER thought that. I still believe Joseph and he go hand in glove and as Joseph he'd absolutely triumph as the best in the role, ever. Aw, give us Daniel, Sir A, we're begging you, otherwise whenever we hear a production of it, there'll be the additional element of wistful regret lingering there!
And even if it isn't the most critically acclaimed of ALW's compositions, I find it one of my personal favourites.
