I have never said you are not entitled to your opinion, i am saying that sometimes you need to come back to reality, and that Daniel has been in this business a very long time and knows what he needs to do to progress with his career. I have full faith in his management company and his family to help him make the right decisions to reach all his goals and dreams.

Not that it is much consolation but Zoe did confirm that none of the panal agreed with ALW when he voted Daniel out and they had to be asked to calm down by the floor manager! They said they initially just satred at ALW in disbelief. We know JB has admitted to being incensed.

Well - at least he will be known as the one who was unfairly ousted. It sets him apart from the others and can't do him any harm whatsoever. Think Aoife from the last series and all that she has gone on to achieve.

I still cannot understand why ALW was so harsh on Daniel -it contradicted everything he had ever said before about him.

Only thing I can possibly think of is that ALW really does want Lewis as Joseph and was making a desperate attempt to justify his decision. Nobody in their right mind could have thought Lewis performed better than Daniel in the sing-off.

It's certainly given Daniel a lot of extra attention though which is all to the good!

I just wonder if ALW has a clue about the type of Daniel he really wants on this coming run. Also there were the questions, weren't there about the sexuality of the chosen Joseph, remember? Could it be possible ALW was afraid it'd somehow dent the attraction of his production if the new Joseph turned out to be less than straight and that ALW suspected Dan might be so(however unfounded)? Frankly I don't think folk would care a tinker's curse about the sexual leanings of the lead nowadays. And anyway, Daniel is anything but 'camp', and a lot more virlie seeming than some of the remaining fellows!! And if some of his fellow males fall for him that's hardly his fault..well, not in this context, anyway!! Daniel is an innocent...and the perfect casting for Joseph.

I wish people would stop dissing Daydream Believer. It's a beautiful, excellently-written pop song.

I can't help but think that this is one of the reasons why ALW voted Daniel out last week. I can't believe the public gave him that opportunity. Daniel would have chewed up the set with a song like that and a singing partner like Josh Groban. If Daniel had been there and Josh had "chosen" Lee, I would have fallen about laughing.
