I went to the 'Flaunt It' TheatreMAD concert last night (I'm soooo tired) and Daniel sang 'As Long As He Needs Me' ... he was AMAZING.

The whole concert was amazing and for a really great cause.

Oh my god! I have a you tube clip of the vocal for Gethsemane, but it's so much more powerful watching it.

I the Faenol performances she how versitile Daniel is. You got the powerful Gethsemane, the beautiful I Know Him So Well with JB, and the comedy of Friendship with Jodie and John.

yeah definitely, and Daniel is always so expressive when he sings, I never tire of watching him perform.

Those performances are taken from John Barrowman at Faenol Festival which is still on the BBC iPlayer. Some amazing performances on it.

I am now in possession of my John Barrowman 'Music, Music, Music' album and it's great.

Of course the duet with JB and Daniel is the highlight for me ... LOL!!!

Nope not much of him on there ... but it was a great night and the CD is worth buying anyway.

Just found a tracklisting and some comments somewhere else. Daniel may be there somewhere but evidently the two songs he featured most in are not. Helena has two songs.

Daniel sang two songs on the night ... one a new song that had never been heard before called 'When Pretend Becomes Real' ... and so I can understand that being cut. He also sang 'Warts and All' from Honk - which was great - but if memory serves me correctly there was more acting and dance than singing ... which again may not make translation to CD so good ... I loved it mind you and wish they had put that song on and he was so cute as the Ugly Ducking!

He has a small part to play in the Soho Cinders - listen very carefully and you may hear his couple of lines!!

I wasn't overly keen on Helena's first song ...

I've got to admit I don't remember much about Daniel's first song of the evening, except that he was good. The song itself was kind-of average IMO. I agree about the second song being more about the performance than singing, so I can see why that one was cut. Personally, I would have cut the final song "Does Every Moment Come?" because I thought it was a bit of an anti-climax, but it was sung by the two people whose show it was and whose CD it is, so they have the final say!

Daniel has a few solo lines in "You Shall Go to the Ball" from the Soho Cinders section of the evening.

There is a tracklisting on amazon.

Saw Avenue Q again with the new cast - brilliant as usual. Jo Ampil who is the new Christmas Eve was particularly exceptional.

Spoke to Daniel afterwards and he confirmed that YES he is going to be supporting John Barrowman on his tour next year They will, of course, be singing the duet.
