Lee is so scrummy! They were right, hearts broke all over the world last night. He absolutely looks the part, and is easily the most talented. Some of the others are good, but Lee IS Joesph, he was born to play this part! It's as obvious to me as it was with Connie, there's only one winner in this competition...
We Need Lee Mead!

I can see his point though, especially if he hardly gets the chance to log in, his mail box would be full! I only sent two messages, I was being good.

While Daniel Boys has someone to log in and sort though his messages.

We all seem to end up in the same place.

After Graham Norton's big build up throughout last nights show I thought it may have been slightly more, errrm, revealing.

As much as I wouldn't mind seeing Lee in the loincloth, I'd much rather hear him get a really GOOD song for a change. They keep handing him rather bland pop songs. It's time to bring out the big guns, something that will show the range of his voice and the depth of his acting.

Thank you for that - hadn't spotted it before. I'm reposting elsewhere as well so more people get to see that. Thanks again.

Aiggh. Real Player has never, ever worked on either of my computers. Guess I'll have to imagine. ::kicks Real::

There are other ways of playing that clip if you don't have RP - I keep kicking it to work for me and luckily enough it seems to.

It's a solid audition piece - not perfect, but very good.

His "not perfect, but very good" way outshines other boys' "top performances." He has so many facets to his acting - he's not a one-smirk showoff. Bring on a song like THAT one and make all the guys sing it. We'd have a show, then.

I must confess I'm not keen on performers who always smirk - there are a few of them about. Moody eyes are definitely preferred. But Lee has a gorgeous smile when he wants to show it - very boyish, very cute. It's endearing IMHO.

And because he doesn't OVERuse it the way the rest of the guys do, it's not going to get old.

Oh, hasn't he just. His smile can light up the room, especially when he is told that he has been voted through!

I also like the clip they show before the introduction vt of him smiling and swishing his coat. Lots of chest!

Great performance again from Lee last night.

There's a moment in Mack The Knife where he grins just after singing about Mac's pearly white teeth. You've got to be very good indeed to do that without looking sad and cheesy, and it worked.

Lee is by far the best contestant on this show. If he doesn't win then something is wrong!
He is a brilliant singer, actor and he looks pretty yummy too

Have to agree with everything thats been said about *that* smile - just beautiful.
Lee actually comes across as rather shy in his VT's doesn't he? I think thats why its great to see the use of emotion in his face when he performs, he is such a star.

I just hope the rest of the voting public see what we see and make him Joseph or i'll spend the next year sulking.

On the subject of his smile, the one that gets me every time is the one in week 2 after Graham Norton commented that it was now obvious what the best thing about appearing in the show was...it was a slightly sheepish grin but one that suggested he wouldn't disagree!

Daniel has a lot of fans who are very aggressive and insulting on a lot of threads ...... I think they're running scared
