O2 Website free pc text messages

Has anyone else noticed that O2's website used to offer 100 free pc text's per month is now down to 30 ! For a shortwhile they were suggesting from April the new figure was going to be 10 per month - but they seamed to have 'upped this'.

Does anyone know of any other PC/Internet based SMS messaging sites?

Thanks

www.cbfsms.com . They offer unlimited free txts, but service can be unreliable at times, and you have to enter a confimation code. But the service is excellent when there are no server issues

Don't you get just 4 or 5 a day though, more if you're willing to pay.

It was great in the days before 'termination charges' when the likes of uboot offered free email confirmation and alike - why is it that when things change on the net, it's generally for the worse?

I also don't trust a lot of the other 'free' ones as I've been swamped with junk txts in the past a result of using them or having received txt's through them.

I found a great thing today, if you want to send a message to someone who has a MMS compatible phone, just go to the media messaging bit on the o2 site, pick a picture that says £0.00 and there is no monthly allowance!

Yeah, I noticed this

Still, I guess 30 a month for free ain't bad. What's píssed me off more is the change in the orange tarrif

yeah i noticed that they knocked it down to 10 then back up to 30

have found that sometimes the service isnt very good, when i send them sometimes the receiver gets just the last 2 words of the message
