Spurs have had a decent season. I got my love of football and snooker from my grandad. He died about 15 years ago. But he had such an influence on me when I was younger.
He thought Steve was fab too!

Well Bally was one of the real characters in football. He was a good captain as well. I must admit to being shocked when I heard the news and all joking apart with the pitch of his voice I doubt you'd find anyone with a bad word to say about him

wow! I would say now is the right rime to go for it - I heard that MoD now have a female presenter (how long has that taken????) Tho' if you get a cushy tennis slot you will need a PA I will let you know if I can think of anyone
If you know your stuff and are passionate about it (which I think yes to both) then I say go for it

I was an avid fan of Grandstand as a child and thought he had the best job in the world! Mind you, I later changed my mind and wanted to be one of Pans People

In those days there were no women sports presenters, and I think it's great that more women have moved into sports presenting on the basis of their knowledge and presenting skills rather than token totty. People like Hazel Irvine and Clare Balding are great! As I mentioned before, cricket (and rugby come to think of it) seem to be the only sports with little female input.

I'd love to offer my services - but acknowledge that even with 20 odd years of watching cricket behind me I would still flounder in an in-depth discussion due to the complicated nature of the game. I find it much easier to hold my own in football and athletics discussions!
