Hi guys thought i would drop over here as you all know what your doing, i have 6 8mm tapes from a holiday 4-5 years ago... Am looking to buy a new camcorder (as some nice bloke nicked my last), thing is i see now that they are mostly disks, which i guess means better quality more so than the 8mm tapes, i dont wanna spend loads on a camcorder but then i dont want a cheap thing. These 8mm tapes, is there anyway of getting them from the tapes to a disk or the tele so i can record them, or do i have to buy an 8mm camcorder.... Sorry if this doesn't make sence but its early lol

Thanks Guys

your better off with a disc, better quality. they are all a lot cheaper now as everyone got one and prices are low to get you to buy one.

buy a dvd version and its put on a dvd disc for you. try this one

To watch or copy old camcorder tapes without the camera you will need one of these:
