Why do I protest? I am from Bolton and they always pick the most talentless nerds from this town to be on TV.

Are you sure he was on Phoenix Nights. If he is that one, he looks so different in this then, I liked the guy in Phoenix Nights.

he babbled on about his northern roots etc but the bloke playing Den definitely isn't him and he isn't northern as far as I can tell .

SO have the beeb switched actors at the last minute?

Nope, it was definitely EE. He was going to play Den and he was saying how ironic it was that his roots are northern and he's a big ccorrie fan and yet he was going to be in a cockney soap.
