I started this thread so that people could discuss the fantastic episode on tonight, also spoilers ARE welcome but please put them in tags. Here's one to start you off and I think we all know that
Spoiler
Dalek Sec is a human/dalek hybrid.

Has anyone got any other thoughts on the episode!

I'm looking forward to it, though the title is a bit cheesy. I hope we see lot's of Dalek action, but I do honestly doubt it.

My thought is the first episode will be just a build up for the second part, The Doctor and Martha running around, aware of the threat but not quite sure what that trheat is until the last 5 min's or so. Daleks won't be seen in full until the last 5-10 mins and then the revelation of the Dalek/Human hybrid followed be the closing credits.

I'm sorry if I'm coming across as negative, I'am looking forward to tonights episode very much, but I do know the drill by now with these stories, and so I'm looking forward to next weeks even more.

History will suggest you are right.

Next weeks willbe the (hopefully) really good one.

The Radio Times reviewer said this has a "crazy, disparate plot" but has been "nimbly put together". So I'm expecting a zany episode, ending with a dark cliffhanger.

I hope the cliffhanger isn't resolved by the Doctor using a component from the TARDIS to disintergrate the Daleks in front of him (*ahem*cybermen*ahem)

The Daleks have featured quite prominently in the publicity - particularly in the Totally Doctor Who preview. This generally seems to show material from the first part of the episode. Also the title gives away the baddies for this episode.

Spoiler
With that in mind I think there's going to be a fair amount of Dalek 'action' in this episode, but obviously interlaced with Pigmen and musicals, with the hybrid reveal for the cliffhanger. Going by the Fear Factor comments, the Daleks will be on screen by the 15th minute, and my guess is they enter at minute 9

Might seem slow, building up to an exciting cliffhanger ... hopefully!

The front page of www.bbc.co.uk says it's on at 7:40, not 6:35!!!! I've filled in the 'complaints' form to warn them, but I hope there won't be too many disappointed kids tonight turning on for 'Daleks In Manhatten' and being treated to 'Any Dream Will do!'

According to my TV guide and my EPG it IS on at 6.35, so there's been a muck-up somewhere

If it's not on at 6.35 then I will apologise for putting the wrong time up

Edit: According to the BBC homepage, ADWD is on at 7.25

Will they notice much difference ?

Spoiler

Dalek Sec in his new guise , or Graham Norton - I know which one scares me more !

I've used spoilers in case anyone's been on another planet and doesn't know what's going to happen

Thanks, because I've just come back from a School trip to Mars, where we were following a Guide showing us various exhibits around the planet, and we were studying what life is like without Reality Television.

It DOES start at 6.35, just to avoid any more confusion

I'm excited!!!
Though it seems too light outside for a Dalek episode.. I'm going to have to close the curtains to make it more scary..

They should lay off the Daleks for 1 season at least.

this one sounds like it should be good: 2-part story, daleks, pigmen, 1930s styling .. and miranda raison !

Hoping this is going to be as good as my favourite dalek story, 'Planet of the Daleks'
