I seem to be one of the only people who thinks this was a poor episode - first time I've ever voted poor in one of thiese polls.”

The shoes looked like they'd had a polish too before the casing opened!

I had rather hoped that it was going to turn into Davros. Thought this episode was also crap, just like all the others.

Well Hate IS an emotion - it just means that this one will be able to do room make-overs and cross dress.

His name is Hugh Quarshie, best known for playing Captain Panaka in Star Wars Episode 1, and Mr Griffin in Holby City

I think that sec could be a new davros style character esp if something happens to him and he's placed back into shell.

A reasonable premise for a story but implementation was weak to say the least.

I can handle the 'Final Experiment's stuff - the Daleks have lost so many times it's only natural they change tack a little but the idea of using humans and transforming them was already done ( poorly enough ) last year.

A lot of 'Master' references ( nothing about Saxon though ) which I'm sure is telling us something to note for future reference.

Accents did start to grate a little after a while - a bit 'stereotype' New York but immediately recognisable so can't criticise too much.

Non Dalek parts were OK , the 'show' stuff didn't intrude too much , the Hooverville inhabitants were established well enough though as with the Shakespeare Code everything was a little too clean

Looks like it's setting up for a battle between Daleks & Hooverville crew - no doubt with at least one 'heroic death'

Overall, weakest episode of this series - I'm sure some will say a 'final nail in the Dalek's coffin' , no real menace - next week will have to be best episode ever to rescue this one I'm afraid

Hmm, bit of a confusing episode, but good nonetheless - I think I'll need to watch it again.

Anyone notice a close-up of the letter B (think it was on the side of a dalek)? Wonder what that means

I voted average for this one

I didnt get the dalek/human hybrid if the leadr does it then they have killed of the cash cow of the daleks

I was shouting out 'please dont let the dalek give birth' so I am happy they didnt do that- but with fully working bits then it could be possible Tallulah could be impregnated while down in the sewers

If they are killing off the Daleks to make way for the Master as the main enemy whats the point?

Plus hot guy Ryan Carnes was made to look revolting even when he was a human, surely Russell likes his boys nicer looking????

So what was the point of the pig people? they said something about slaves but they never said what they actually needed slaves for.

and why turn them into pigs?

And the human\Dalek thing was terrible. Who thought up that load of cobblers?

Not impressed really at all, and that's a first from me - normally I love Dr Who.

It seemed to me they spent all thier money paying for a few CGI shots of NYC, and then paid for the rest of the episode with about £10. I saw British plug sockets in quite a few shots.

And - do I need to say anything about thier 'American' accents?.....

Lets hope for something much better next episode, but, I'm not holding my breath with this...

What was his characters name, Diagros or something, was it an in joke to have it sound like Davros

I assume the pig/human hybrid was a test for the dalek/human merging. Given it worked, they maybe decided they were more effective slaves than normal humans, being more subservient?

enjoyable episode, liked the premise of the episode, definitely more successful than last weeks, and even though it wasn't the best episode ever, i desperately want to watch next week's, and that's the sign of a good show surely? can't wait.

Also, There was less of the martha-doctor relationship this time, and no mention of rose, things are looking forward!

The American accents didn't annoy me half as much as the awful British accents in Lost's flashback episodes for Charlie and Desmond!

Oh - MAJOR MAJOR comment which I'm surprised no one's picked up on yet!!!

All those Rose-lovers out there, fixate upon this thought - Rose would have been taken off to become a pigthing for sure, due to her lower intelligence!

Was the pig human hybrid, meant to be the same species as the one that the slitheen crashed into Big Ben in the Ecclestone series?

I hope not, as I want to see the original Davros back (played by Terry Molloy)

The reason why we haven't seen Davros yet in my opinion is due to us seeing "renegade" Daleks on screen and not Davro's "Imperial" Daleks (the white ones)
Hopefully we will see another battle between the two (like Remembrance of the Daleks) and a return by Davros.

Perhaps the Slitheen bought one, they were dodgy traders weren't they?
