The timing in Home and Away is all wrong. Sally was stabbed, before Christmas, but the next episode, she was discovered but all the decorations had gone. Then Kit turnred up, 5 months pregnant on Kim and Rachels wedding day, but a few episodes later they were saying it was only Three weeks until March 14th, but Kit was still 5 months pregnant!
Then this week, Cassie said she'd only been gone three week, but she went before Chriustmas. It is all so confusing, can anyone help??
Also, Kim has been 19 for years.....

But when Rachel was planning te honeymoon, Kit said her next scan was in three weeks, on March 14th. If she was five months pregnant whenm she arrived,(and I thought they went missingin the bush more than 5 moths ago) that'd make her 8 months pregnant now, aND Beth has goine away for a month, so she'd miss the birth.

ha ha Kim has been 19 for years.
anyway, when Sally was stabbed that was the last episode in australia before the annual Christmas break. The Christmas break was a few weeks long. They then came in the year with the first episode being sally being discovered. Here, they could just go straight into showing the first episode back

I mentioned the Christmas thing a week or so back

it would have been so much easier for them to slip in a time jump like they normally do, stick Sal in a coma for a couple of weeks problem solved.

It also appears when they were saying about the March 14th scan in 3 weeks, it should have been February, but those episodes went out in January.....

My head hurts

It is really annoying, isn't it? I suppose Kit's pregnancy will be an Australin soap 18 month pregnancy too!

Home and away, neighbours,All saints and McLeod's daughters- basically all the aussie sops go off air over christmas- because it's summer over there and everyone hits the beach i should imagine rather than watching telly. All saints and McLeod's have from november-february off. Neighbours has three weeks over christmas off. And Home and away has from the start of December to the third week of January off.

I can't believe Kim's supposed to be 19 what a joke, i laughed when he told that adoption bloke he was 19-feels like he's been 19 for ages and he looks more like mid 20's.

Thanks for spoiling that for me! You shouldn't do that, it's bad enough the papers do it. There are separate pages for spoliers

Yes, Jackrew, I'll get over it, but that isn't the point. I chose not to read the spoiler pages. Its like reading the last page of a book first! To have a storyline given away with no warning is a bit mean, and negates the point of watching I think. And, by the way, I agree, Kim looks 25.

I think on soaps they only celebrate 18th birthdays to give them their first beer, and after that only when something bad needs to happen at a party.

That's what I was just thinking also. If things are highlighted on here and say 'spoiler' it warns you not to read it, if you don't want to know what is happening in future episodes .

By the way, how does one do that highlighting thing when writing a message on here?

I am fairly new to this forum, so didn't know I had to check each message for spoiler alerts. Thought they were done separately, to avoid confusion. I already get annoyed when papers/radios/TV programmes give storylines away. Remember when JR was shot? The whole country was kept guessing. It'd be nice to go back to not knowing months in advance. Who leaks the storylines anyway?
